Ordered this because it looked good. Previous reviews inclined that this would be good and a few had their own bad spots. Adding photos and my own expert watch adjustment viewpoint. The watchband is nice, shiny and feels secure. In my opinion makes my Samsung Gear watch look even more expensive. Great value and feel for the price paid. Now the boxing. It's good. Contents all that I guess I needed at the time and after the fitting. Tool to remove the pins. It works, has a plastic base, and I observed it was off center. Putting the watch band in and using the tool was a bit of an exercise of delicate balancing and lining up the pin hole. Actually pushing the pin out I had gone only so far. Had to bust out tools such as pliers and hammer. The pins are really secure. There are no markings to indicate which direction they are removed. So best guess on a direction and a lot of elbow grease. Maybe even bend a few pins trying to yank it out like a tooth on a rhinoceros fighting you. It just dont want to happen. Anyways the pins and link removal can happen without a jeweler's help but you run the risk if you break or damage your watch/watchband. So back to the pin replacement. It goes in just as easily as it came out. Peace of mind for you after this description. Once you insert the pin and tap tap it as gently as a lumberjack chopping wood it is finally in there tighter than Scrooge's wallet in "A Christmas Carol". Now putting the watchband on the watch. The pins are easy. Its exact with measurement. So you may feel resistance but you just need to get consent and then voila it's in. Now I dont have a huge wrist so I removed two links for OCD's sake on both sides. If you have a huge wrist you just might need to adjust at all. If it dont work out then you can always make it a spiffy gift for someone somewhere. Now if you focused on the pictures and made it this far and still think about that wood surface that needs resurfacing you probably need to re-read my review. Happy Holidays
