Double Hammock

Amazingly small and light! The adjustment system is the coolest thing I've ever seen, it's like a Chinese handcuff. I was scared to lay in it the first time because of this and how light it is. But, it was rock solid. Totally amazing! I also got the tree straps and they're SO small and light! You can fit the tree straps inside the stuff sack to keep it all together. I've used it a couple times for testing with my wife and there's PLENTY of room. We're less than 300 lbs combined which is far lower than the 400 lbs max quoted. Planning on taking this with us on our Mt. Rainier Wonderland Trail hike this summer as a luxury item. It's so small and light it should fit nicely with our ultralight packing.

Best hammocks for the weight, size, strength and price $

This thing is awesome super light and compact and i can take it anywhere with me and still have room for other stuff even in my small camelbak

Well, I really liked the weight of the hammock and the size of the double hammock. The problem comes in where I strung it and tried to get in. It has a listed weight of 400 lbs. I weigh 210. It ripped right in two as soon as I put some weight on it.I'm glad I figured it out now and not when I'm out on trail for backpacking.

Bought this hammock around Christmas for the Spring season. I used it 5-6 times before it ripped in half. I was aware of the issues of correctly hanging it, but it still failed on my final night of backpacking. I’ll loved the hammock, but now have second thoughts.

As an owner of several hammocks, including the Sea to Summit Pro Hammock, I found the Hummingbird's Ultralight Double hammock to be the best in the areas of:1) Lightweight (lighter than Sea to Summit's hammock)2) Ease of setup and adaptability to different "tree configurations"The button-based hardware is, in my opinion, what sets this product apart. While Sea to Summit will claim to be the "world's lightest hammock", which is true for the hammock ITSELF ONLY. Once you add the suspension hardware, Sea to Summit's hammock is actually heavier and not as adaptable as that of Hummingbird's.Please note that Amazon carries other camping hammocks that will be more comfortable than this Hummingbird hammock as they will be wider and longer; however, a backpacker is always willing to compromise some comfort to shave off weight. I have used this hammock on five trips thus far and slept overnight restfully each time. I have a 10 degree bag which is suitable for the 40 degree lows here in the California Sierras during late spring and summer (the hammock is completely uninstalled).

This is by far the most comfortable hammock I've ever owned! my wife and I both easily fit and were so comfortable we fell asleep in minutes. We live in northern Colorado so seeing a local company with such an amazing product was a nice change of pace from the larger companies. It is light weight and durable. We accidentally left it up during a rain storm. It completely filled with water but was still holding strong. We especially love the innovative tree strap mechanism that is easy to use and very strong. We love this product and are excited to see what this company can come up with next! Five-stars!!!!

Gave this to my wife as a gift on 8-26. We set it up in the back yard to relax on 8-29 and the hammock ripped in half and we fell. Not sure if it was a manufacturer defect or what, but I was excited to use this hammock for future backpacking trips.
