Top liner lock is hard to beat!
Holy cow is this a great knife! Vosteeds top liner lock knives are fantastic! Raccoon fits the hand perfect and the action is ridiculously smooth!! Came really sharp. The clip is a reversible deep carry clip and it’s just right. This is a great knife! Hard to beat for the $$

Awesome EDC knife
This knife is amazing. I really like the design. The top liner lock is strong and simple to close. The most satisfying "Thwack!" on open of any knife i own. I have 3 more on the way. 2 for gifts and 1 more for me. Highly recommended.I will say I do wish it came with more better steel though. In this design I would absolutely pay more for better steel. Does not detract from the overall quality at this price at all. I love it.

Best knife for the money!
The Vosteed Raccoon replaced my $300 EDC! Not just because it's new. I've gotten a dozen new knives that are nice but the Racoon actually replaced a knife that cost 4 times as much. I like 14C28N and Vosteed's heat treatment is great. The blade came centered and sharp (a few minutes of stropping made it scary sharp). Lightweight (3oz.), grippy micarta scales, the backliner lock (button lock), ball bearings and perfect detent make this the most fidget friendly knife I have (over 100). Vosteed quality is visually obvious (fit and finish), but when you use the knife, you'll FEEL the quality.

The Pocket Knife You’ll Actually Use
If Batman carried a budget-friendly EDC, it’d be the QSP Raccoon—because this thing is an everyday workhorse with a tuxedo’s worth of class. 3.25 inches of 14C28N steel means it’s sharp, tough, and won’t rust at the first sign of a drizzle. Whether you’re opening boxes, slicing apples, or asserting dominance over zip ties, this blade gets it done. The micarta handle? Oh, it’s grippy in all the right ways—like your grandma’s firm handshake, but less judgmental. It molds to your hand, making you feel like a seasoned knife guy, even if your only experience is cutting sandwiches. And the liner lock? Snaps into place like it owes you money—secure, smooth, and satisfying. Plus, the blade deploys with buttery ease, thanks to QSP’s dialed-in action. At this price, the Raccoon is an absolute steal—which is fitting, because raccoons are nature’s little thieves. But unlike them, this knife won’t leave a mess. It’s practical, stylish, and reliable—kind of like a truck that always starts, even in the dead of winter.Final Verdict: A working man’s knife with gentleman’s charm. 10/10, would pocket again.

Nice but fitting is off
All around this knife was nice, opens well, locks well (more on that in a minute) blade is sharp. Overall weight and handle feels good, micarta is grippy. My only complaint is the hole for the button lock is wayyyy too big. It looks sloppy IMO.The button lock itself interesting. Its actually a button actuated liner lock. The button doesn't interface with the blade itself, only an internal liner the button is fixed too. It functions fine but also not a true button lock.

Top Value Knife
Great quality and terrific value. Lives up to the Youtube hype. Size and weight are perfect. Very comfortable in the hand. The locking mechanism is very secure. Fidget friendly.
