I got this to check a leak I was having on my 2007 vw rabbit. I found the leak in the secondary vacuum pump within two minutes of starting it. It works fine for a DIY since it's not something I use all the time, but it sure takes all the guessing of trying to find an air leak. Keep in mind that it won't find all the leaks as I had to use a vacuum pump to test the purge valve that was also bad. So it's just a useful tool if you work on your own car. Also this was the lowest priced one I could find that included the inflatable part. I forgot the name but it's the one I ended up using as the cone kept popping out of the intake hose.

Oh heck yes..Can't believe I been this long without one of these in my garage..found my vacuum leak immediately!!..works great..also bought the glow fluid to use in it. Makes thick smoke..A++

Need to find a small evap leak on a jeep that set off the gas cap light on the dash most days will driving. Cheap enough and can use many times beats the dish at a dealership or auto repair shop. Don’t for get to buy the smoke oil as it’s not included. Simple to use and well worth it

But after using it a total of two times with about a month in-between uses it started to leak all fluid. It still works but leaks badly.No way to contact the seller and Amazon won't do anything.If the seller offered a replacement I'd gladly change my review.

Soooooooooo much better than the Solary, [Solary Automotive Smoke Machine Leak Detector - 12V DC EVAP Vacuum Diagnostic Tester for Pipe System] same price but solary had ZERO Pressure decent smoke but lasted 20 minutes and spitting oil out the tip, No smoke. This one will hit 15psi and blows waaaaay more smoke, very pressurized unlike the solary. This is their top of the line up and got it for 80 plus tax so VERY HAPPY and just hope she lasts!!!

Works as designed but machine itself started smoking and I only put half of the initial fill recommend. Used about 5 min and then machine itself started smoking
