Works well. Using it to extend connectivity to my unifi cameras.

First of all, be aware that despite it taking active PoE for input power, the POE on the output ports is passive, meaning it's always supplying power no matter if the connected device supports POE or not. This is not made clear in the listing. Many non-POE devices can not handle the higher voltage and can be damaged, and it's not clear on most non-PoE devices whether they can handle the passive PoE power or not. If you buy this extender be aware of that and don't be surprised if you plug in something that is not PoE and it gets fried.Having said that, this extender is also unreliable. While it worked okay when I had it connected to a TP-Link Smart-Managed 8-port POE switch, it did not work connected to a Zyxcel GS1900-10HP switch, where as a different brand POE-splitter/extender works just fine with either. I'm replacing the TP-Links for security reasons so if it only works with that brand of PoE switch then it's worthless to me.

It worked like a charm.

I expected this device to need a power supply, but it does not. I guess, splitting the signal, gives it enough power.Used with LOREX POE cameras. Added a 180 degree camera and thought I’d give up the previously installed one, but by adding this device, I got another slot to keep the previous camera as it has just a slightly different view. I saw a low review on here but he admits he ran 120’ which is too long. I think the longest is 100’.

Bought a different knock off brand first to save money. Blah. Big mistake. Had cams randomly rebooting. Pulling hair out.... Get this. Works with hikvision poe cams with the new color star light cameras. No issues at all. Highly recommend. Using with 16 port unifi poe switch. Blue iris as well.

Easy to install and no configuration was needed. Great price
