definitely a product that lasts and works ive had these for about a year now and no regrets i have four of them all the lights function exactly the way there supposed to sensor is really sensitive light is vast and bright definitely feel safer than being in the pitch black love 360 degree rotation on this device it can be pointed in any direction you want it to face batteries lasts a really long time ive have had some good name brand batteries in them and its been over a year and i stll havent had to change the batteries the color on this product is super appealing definitely curbside worthy not a cheap flimsy producy i dropped a couple times while and no harm done great product thanks

Placed one on the pavers behind a hedge to light the front door step. Also put one on a shelf in the hallway to light it up when my elderly father wanted to go the kitchen at night and needed light but didn't want to turn on the hallway overhead lighting. Yes, it turns on during the daytime, too, but it's worth having this safety lighting when it's needed at night.

We enter and leave our home thru the garage, usually coming and going before dawn and after sunset. It's always an adventure to make sure we don't trip on something left out... After reading all the reviews I was still not sure about these light, but Amazon has a great return policy, so why not. First... The manufactures website gives incomplete information. It says they are 120volt, battery powered?? You will need 4 "D" batteries. I dropped one about 8 feet while installing it and it popped into two pieces... No problem, it snapped back together and works great. They are NOT that bright. You will not be reading a book or be doing any close work by these lights. That being said, they do provide enough light about 10 - 15 feet out that you will not trip on something. I have two of them placed back to back about 8 feet up the side of the garage about equal distance between the door to the house and outside. When we come in either door one comes on and when we get in range of the other it then lights the way to the door. Like I said, NOT real bright, but certainly bright enough that I can see what has been left on the floor for me to trip over. Wished I had found these years ago...

it does what it is supposed to do; easy to install and adjust; only getting about 20 foot range for the motion detector; the lights could be brighter but do the job for me, i.e., lighting an entrance; they are a little pricey too.

Sometimes you get lucky. You get exactly what you want AND what you need. This LED solves the problem of underlit entryways. Easy to mount, adjustable, and bright enough to see down the way. We mounted it on my mother's porch ceiling, pointing it down her handicap ramp. It turns on when she opens the door. It turns on when I come up the ramp. It turns off after we leave. It's great. Just what we needed, and at a reasonable price.

More than a dozen years ago I purchased 2 of the smaller ones which worked great. Even after dropping and torturing them one of them still works fine. Awhile back I bought 2 of these big ones and they worked well for a few days. I must say that their customer service bent over backwards to fix the problems with both of them but to no avail. I should have returned them .. So Now I find myself in the need for 2 more similar devices. Thinking that the first two I got were just lemons I ordered two more. I have already re-packed them and they are ready for pick up and return. This model obviously has design problems and I can not believe I received the only 4 they sold with the exact same problem. I have stuck my neck out an order another one of the small ones and hope for the best. Thank god for Amazon's great customer service and ease in making returns.

This is an update to a review I wrote too soon after purchase and installation of two such fixtures. That was some year ago. Even then the color of the light emitted was too cold - too heavy on the blue compared to my other yard lights. I tried to change the color of these with a homemade filter, which worked OK. But far too soon they stopped working due to dead batteries. I realized that they were being activated by the motion of nearby tree branches and leaves moving in the wind. I'll replace these two fixtures with the hard wired kind. Take those factors into account in your purchase decision.

I have 4 of these. 2 in a back hallway, 1 along the side of my house to light a wallway and one above my alley gate. They give just enough light. Nice that you can adjust the direction of the light. I've had a couple of them for several months and haven't had to change the batteries and they get a lot of use. They are more expensive than other battery operated motion lights, but I think they're worth the additional cost.

First, it lights a lot and the movement detector is just great,even at about 20 to 25 feet. I am very happy with this purchase.
