This bench looks nice and is made of attractive wood, I give it 2 stars for that. The problem was the bolts used to put the bench together. Firstly, I could not get the part D which is the front long support to tighten up, the bolts were just a little too short. I had to put a self tapping screw through the part A into part E to pull it tight. To secure the seat part (partE) to the side supports, only one bolt on each side is provided. I thought that this was insufficient before starting, and then not only did the seat rattle on the supports, but again the bolts were too short to secure it. I should have returned it, but that would have meant me taking it all to pieces again and re boxing, at this stage I was losing the will to live. So again I put a self tapping screw through the side support into the seat part, it does not look very good but seems to have done the job for now. Would not buy this again or recommend it to anyone.
