This is a very strong clamp. With very little effort it locks up solidly.I've bought two now.It fits both standard photo light stand spigot, and C stand.Just be aware of the sizes of 'boom' it can clamp. The maximum is half inch, which is fairly small.

Wasn't sure at first but once I realized how to best use it I love it and definitely glad I purchased it.

Seems well built, clamps tight to my 12ga and bow stabilizer. Haven't used it in the field yet, but it should hold up. Exactly what I was looking for, for recording my hunts.
