Fashion Conscious
I bought this book because I currently write a lot of articles around fashion so other than whats in at the moment I wanted to offer my readers some insight into personal style. But before I can do that I needed to understand style more than I do, its a great reference when I'm short of ideas and the book has given me great insight into my personal style as well as offering other hints and tips to people, without copying anything from the book! Its a good basic insight into style.

Slightly flawed, but still utterly fabulous!
Amanda Brooks claims that this book is designed to help the reader find their own style, and, yes, it may not have much in the way of advice, but this book is so packed with inspiration, fashion history and general coolness that you'll surely figure out your style just by reading the chapters on the six different styles featured (personally, I'm mostly Bohemian, quite Eclectic, with some generous servings of High Fashion and Street). The book also features four chapters that will surely make shopping for fashion must-haves a breeze, including plenty of information on buying pieces that are both cheap and chic. Yes, Amanda Brooks may not have the best writing style (a photo of Clemence Posey had a particularly bad example in the form of a caption saying little more than 'she has great style'), but the book's good qualities more than make up for her lazy grammar. If you love fashion, you must read this book!

Sorry, can't recommend
Sorry, but far,far too many pictures of ' celebs...' showing their style which isn't of much use to the average woman. Tho' a pic of Dionne Warwick sporting her fox-fur over her shoulder and carrying her Leopard skin coat, was a delight. She has pure glam. Not too sure about the others. Tho' Jackie O looked good too.

Fantastic and inspiring book!
Absolutely amazing! I bought this book with an unclear idea of what to expect but I am so glad I parted with my hard earned cash. I was barely able to put I Love Your Style down and I feel more inspired than ever. Amanda Brooks shares helpful hints and tips and encourages you as a reader and aspiring fashionista to explore your style and find a way of really expressing yourself through the way you dress.Easy to follow and thought-provoking (although equally light-hearted), a true education and exploration of the world of fashion.

Not What the Label Says...and NOT worth the Money.
Basically a historical review of fashion rather than a "how to" develop one's one fashion sense. I paid 50p for this copy and felt cheated.
