This smart fan is incredible through and through! It is approximately 4 feet tall, which easily carries air flow wherever you need it. I have a fairly spacey room with very tall furniture, and I feel cooled off no matter the scenario. It's a very versatile fan, with 12 speeds, very wide oscillation and overall very reliable functionality. If you're looking for a loud fan, look elsewhere, as this fan is very quiet, which is exactly what I need. Another bonus to this fan is how the app works as a very versatile remote, with many options to it. It also works with your Alexa/Google Home! With all of these great features, it's incredibly valuable for the money. Hands down, I will recommend this fan to anybody looking for a worthy tower fan. This is coming from someone who has owned 7 different brands in the past. This fan scratches all the itches I need.

**UPDATE: 6 months later and I absolutely recommend this fan. It's so easy to customize, I've had zero issues with it staying connected to my WiFi (usually I keep it on my Tapo Deco mesh system, but it works well either on my router or the mesh with no issues), and the night light and ability to set the oscillating direction is really nice. **Here's my original post: I'm loving this fan. I've only had it about 2 weeks, but so far it works as advertised and is simple to schedule and customize. All of the fan's features, and there are several, are adjustable via the app or on the fan itself, but I've mostly used the app so far. It is ETL listed (similar to UL) which is something I look for in any electrical appliance. It has 12 speeds - speed #1 is a very, very light breeze, just barely noticeable, and #12 is hurricane force winds. I think #12 could blow you off your chair, so if you have a large area or are outdoors, 12 will definitely cover it. The nightlight can be turned off, set to one of hundreds of colors, or even a 'scene' where it changes colors. The display showing the fan speed can be turned off as well so that it doesn't bother you at night if you use the fan in your bedroom. You can set it to turn on/off on a timer, and you can schedule it to go on and off on whichever days and times you like, with settings for the nightlight, oscillation, etc. that you can program it for. You can customize each day of the week and any time of day for various operations. Very cool feature. The only "remote" is your cell phone/pad using the Govee app, or, you can control it manually on the fan itself. You can connect it to Alexa (she recognized it without me even doing anything) and Google and Matter. Apparently there's specific instructions to connect it to Matter (which I don't have). I think there was something in the box with instructions on how to do that. Programming it and using the app is easy. I'm 65 years old and have had no problem programming Govee products or using the app (the app took some getting used to, and they change it up now and then, but you can figure it out if I can). It is very quiet on the lower speeds (1-3) and as loud as any other fan I've had on high speeds. I'm using this fan in my bedroom, which is at least 15' x 15' in size. The fan is about 10' from the head of my bed, and on speed #1 I can feel a very gentle and quiet breeze on my head. Speed setting #3 is probably the most I would need to go in my bedroom, in the dead of summer. Right now I have it scheduled to come on Mon - Sun at 10 pm, speed #1, oscillating at 15 degrees on one side and 30 degrees on the other, with the nightlight on at 50% (that's the glow near the top of the fan in the photos), and for now I have it scheduled to turn off at 1:30 a.m. because it's still a bit cool where I am. In the summer I'll program it to go all night and turn off in the a.m. You can adjust the oscillation feature so that if you have it in a corner, you can make it stop rotating when it gets to the wall(s); or, have it oscillate 'X' degrees to the left and a different degree to the right. It's a really nice feature! (See my screenshot/photo.) The air blows from the fan starting about 6" from the floor I guess; in other words, my dog laying just a couple of feet in front of the fan won't directly feel the air. Step a few feet away though and you can feel it closer to the floor. I haven't had any squeaks, rattles or other unwanted noises from the fan, but time will tell if that stays true. The actual operation of it is quiet, but of course the fan/wind noise increases as you get above 3 or 4, as you would expect. My living area/den is about 20 x 20, and I wouldn't need it on higher than 3 to get a good breeze there, but in my bedroom 3 is the max I need. The aroma sticks are a nice feature, and they work. You soak a stick in essential oil for about 3 or 4 minutes to let it soak in, place it in the little silver 'tube' and clip it onto the front of the fan. It does give off a nice scent, but I imagine you have to repeat the process frequently if you use it daily (you can reuse the stick many times; it comes with 12). I tried it and it made my bedroom smell really nice, but I took it off because my dogs are in there with me at night and I it's not good for them to have that scent going on in a closed room. But I can clip it back on and run it for a bit during the day when they're not in there to freshen the room up. The fan came very well packaged and putting it together was a simple as snapping the two pieces of the base together, attaching it to the base of the fan with one big 'screw' thing, and plugging the power cord in (be sure to run it under the base like the instructions say so that the fan isn't sitting on the cord). It probably took all of 5 minutes for me to do. The fan is light in weight, and although I'm pretty weak in the arms these days I had no problem getting it put together and carrying it to my bedroom. This fan is a bit pricey, but imo, it's well worth the money for so many features and customization. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update.

I’ve had this device for 6 months or so. I don’t usually leave reviews but I had to on this thing. It’s still quiet as can be. At times, I find myself checking to see if it’s powered on because it’s so quiet. The wind speed is amazing. Matter of fact, the highest speed, level 12, is like being in the perfect wind storm. Alexa found it right away and added it to our Alexa app. How much easier could assembly be? Being able to control it by my voice or the Govee or Alexa app is so simple, no remote control needed. The temp indicator is the best. The temp goes above 70.1 degrees and the fan kicks on to drop it below 70 degrees without me having to do a thing. Comfort at its best!! I see this thing lasting many years to come. Super easy to clean and put back together. I’ll definitely be purchasing the next model whenever it comes out! Sold for life!

This would be my first dive into a 'smart fan'. It pushes a lot of air at low noise levels, tremendous improvement over my non-smart fan. However, with it being smart and all, there are some things I wish I could do (or figure out how to do) such as: -Set times for when you want the led light to be on. Right now it appears to be a global setting for all modes. You can set a time window for the indicator lights but also adding one for the colored led light would be nice. -Ability to create scenes with specific angle directions you want the fan to move to (and stop at). Such as the ability to create a night scene and have it face the direction of my bed at a specific point and stop (not continuously oscillate). Then make a day scene where the fan will change its direction by pointing to my desk and stop. Also adding the ability to easily and quickly specify a direction you want it to go to via the app would also just be very useful. Right now it seems if I want it facing another direction I have to get up and manually rotate the entire fan to point where I want it to point, just like my dumb fan. I could hope to see functionality added like this in the future. -There are options missing when you create a tap-to-run for the fan. You can currently only have it turn on/off, select a mode and strength and turn oscillate on or off. You cannot change the oscillate angles or do anything regarding if the led light should be on or off or what color it is, nor can you specify if you want a specific tap-to-run scene to have an auto-shutoff timer. These options are all or nothing. Basically it feels like the issues I have are that the options available via the app are lacking and limiting compared to what I would like it to do. It could be much smarter but is still being held back. But what we have here is a fan that performs amazing, is quiet, and the nature mode is quite nice.

If you like smart tech, this fan is a game-changer. It pairs seamlessly with Alexa and the Govee app, making it easy to control without getting up (bless). Govee always makes solid products, and this one’s no exception—it feels sturdy, sleek, and performs quietly even on higher settings. The adjustable oscillation is great for coverage, and I love the different speed and mode options. It cools the room quickly and doesn’t sound like a jet engine taking off. Bonus: it looks good in the corner too. Highly recommend if you want something efficient, quiet, and smart-home compatible.

Love, love, LOVE this!!! I have many Govee products, and this is one of my favorites! Govee doesn’t fail me, ever! The app is so easy to use and navigate, and all the different options are amazing!! You can choose to turn on/off oscillate, and also choose how far to oscillate! There’s a cute night light that has unlimited color options. The fan moves air amazingly! The room is an addition to the home and, unfortunately, was wood construction and very little insulation… so in South Florida, that room got so hot! But, now, the room stays nice and cool! Even in the heat of the afternoon, where the sun beats on that side of the house the most. I can keep it at fan setting 7, and even get chilly with it on. I love the auto setting - set the temperatures where you want it to turn on and off, or change the fan settings at a certain temperature. The options are limitless! It is SO customizable to your needs! It doesn’t take up much floor space, but it is nice and tall to move air well. It’s a fan - it makes noise, like a fan does. It is not overly loud, but you can hear it working when it’s on. Definitely recommend this product!
