This hand sock is light and breathable and machine washable. I've used them to cover my hands after washing them when applying ointment to my body to avoid any residue on my face or in my eyes.

We are using these hand socks as a cushioning layer under a hand brace for my husband. He found the sleeve for the thumb too constricting so we were able to cut that part off and still have plenty of sock left to cover his hand from knuckles to past his wrist. A small slit was made for his thumb to pass through and he was very comfortable.
