This Product Works Very Well, I Started Working As I Was Taking It Out Of The Box Thank You Very Much Good Product.

The fruit flies are attracted to the trap, but they don’t go in… or if the do, they can get out. Any suggestions?

They're coming and I'm ready! The nasty little fruit flies are extremely annoying and luckily pretty stupid. It's a very simple process; attract them with the scent, they fly in, and can't find their way out.The best part is... well there's a lot of best parts; it's a nice large size so you aren't constantly emptying it out. It's reusable over and over again. It uses a cotton pad for the scent so you're not dumping a big wet solution with tons of mushy dead bugs 😝. When you run out of scent you can use a cotton pad with apple cider vinegar.As this is supposed to attract the bugs, I keep it away from the kitchen and I use it with a small zapper close by to zap the ones that aren't sure where to go yet.Winner winner 🐔 chicken dinner with no bugs.

Trap worked when i added apple cidr vinegar. Idk. I like the large trap, just needed a different lure.

I hung this thing RIGHT in the middle of where I have a cloud of fruit flies hanging out. This thing caught exactly ZERO of these flies after a week. I set it up with the included bait first, after not a single fly after three days I switched to watermelon juice. Nothing. Even if I HAD caught a few flies with the watermelon I would have given this trap a poor review, because the included bait should be all I need based on their claims.

This is the perfect little fruit fly trap. Its not quite small enough to hang out in the kitchen for any fruit flies, but its great for lil flying what-nots around on the patio. They seem to be attracted to it forsure.

I have had this out for 3 days now in 3 separate locations, First was next to my Seedlings and indoor plants, it didn't catch a single one. Second location was next to my Rabbit Hutches where the fungus gnat / fruit flies like to hang out for the water and molding manure on the ground, again, not a single one came for the trap. So i moved it close to my Black Soldier Fly Bin to try and get some of the fruit flies out of it, there are literally hundreds if not thousands in this Black and Yellow Tote and i set it on top of this tote for a while, then hung it nearby, it caught 2. just 2. So the drops it came with are completely useless and i'll be altering this product and using Apple Cider Vinegar and a drop of soap. Also this product states "Do not use in high humidity or high heat." .... So you mean don't use these in a tropical location where these flies are the worst?

I ordered this because the fly’s and gnats this year are pretty bad in our area.We get those little black gnats that hover around doing circles in front of your face. We’ve tried other hanging bait traps and strips that worked okay at best.I saw this online and thought why not give it a shot. To my surprise after preparing and hanging in our patio area we started seeing results. The first hour there was a few in the trap. The next day, about 24 hours later we noticed the trap had about 20-30 of these little pests. The funny thing is they’ve basically disappeared from our patio now but the trap still keeps working. So I think I’m helping my neighbors out as well.It’s super easy to clean and reprepare for the next trapping. I’m pretty happy with the results of this trap, works way better than the black flag bait traps.I would recommend and repurchase this product.Thank you so much.
