I WANTED IT TO TRAP LOOSE PARAKEETS THAT ESCAPED THE CAGE AND IT IS A HOTEL FOR THEM SINCE THEY CAN GO IN AND OUT. IT IS ALL HELD TOGETHER WITH PLASTIC TIES AND MAY WORK FOR LARGE BIRDS LIKE PIGEONS BUT NOT FOR SMALLER BIRDS. MY BIRDS ARE CONFINED TO A SCREENED POOL PATIO.

Easy to put together. Not sure on the longevity is since it’s put together with zip ties. Not sure that smaller animals couldn’t be caught by this trap too.

Scares the chickens.

Doesn’t work. Haven’t caught anything yet. Tried different bait and NO LUCK!

Not large enough, doesn’t work

It does not work. The spikes are too weak and birds can and do get out easily. Other larger animals like rabbits they come in, eat the bait, and leave as they please. Waste of money.

Price during review- $52.99 Got this to humanely trap a bird that got into our basement and didnt know how to get out. I can see where the idea would be good, that the bird would enter,and then be trapped, but it didn't work for us. Day after day went by with no bird entering the trap. We used multiple food varieties as recommended by various web searches but ultimately I think it's just that the trap is as difficult to get into, as it is to get out of. The metal of the product is sturdy enough, but the zip ties are very flimsy and of poor quality. I ended up using my own which I felt more confident with. It is a high price to pay for something that will be used maybe once and that too with not much success.
