Making your own tortillas with masa harina is an experience that is not to be missed. I made 18 tortillas with just two cups of this corn flour. It is not the same as cornmeal at all. The tortillas were also great the next day heated up. I reheated two and filled them with some scrambled/omelet eggs. Delicious! I am so happy to have found this I will definitely get it again. King Arthur Masa Harina - this masa harina is wonderful. Almost flour-like, with a cornmeal flavor and a little bit of chew to it. I've been experimenting with it to the point of where it's almost all gone already lol. Mostly successes.Highly recommended.

After using an entire bag and numerous tries with another brand of organic Mexican masa, I almost gave up. It was very difficult to get the tortillas to puff. With the King Arthur brand, I was puffing every tortilla I put on my comal. Not sure that the flavor is quite as good, but it certainly is a ton easier to work with. Very happy with the product

It took me a moment to figure out how to press and roll the tortillas out (I do not have a tortilla press), but once I got a technique down, I can easily churn out tortillas. It mixes up quickly, and the texture is moist and soft. Waaaaaaaay better than the store brand sold at my grocer. I like to cook twice - the first time is to "set" the tortilla. Then I store them in my fridge until I'm ready to eat them, and I cook them a second time for whatever I'm making, whether tacos or a quesadilla or a "Mexican" casserole. Excellent flavor.
