These rod dimensions were right on spec. The rods were clean, smooth, and straight and were able to be manipulated to fit my purposes with normal hand tools. I used these with brass pinion gears to replace similar plastic parts in an LTO Tape Library Robot Picker mechanism. If you follow the diagnostic steps the recommendation was to replace the Robot or worse the entire Library Chassis with the Robot Mechanism in it for what amounts to an easily replaceable broken gear and bent rod. You have to go deep into the Google search results to find people who have glued or replaced the plastic gear and resolved the error only to have it recur with the gear on the other side of the shaft. The robot mechanism is used many tape libraries from major brands HP, Dell, IBM, Quantum and more. I have five of these units all at a similar age so I was determined not to throw away hundreds of parts to fix what must be a common point of failure (a tiny plastic gear under stress). Initially I was looking at brass rods but I went stainless steel for strength because I reduced the shaft size 1mm to allow me to have a little more material on the pinion gear hub for durability. It's been a couple of weeks and hundreds of tape changes, I will update if anything changes but so far these are handling the stress and torque well and the machine is functioning 100%. I love it when a couple of dollars and ingenuity saves you potentially thousands.

The amount of product you get is well worth the money and I still have left overs for other projects.

Exactly 200mm x 2mm in size. Probably depends on the package handler because they are in a bag, but all of mine came unbent.

I used it for a RC plane landing gear replacement part. I was able to bend it and cut it to work for what I needed. It measured at 2mm plus or minus .01mm.
