This wind speed meter is great. Has an on/off switch which I love. The other one I had gotten for my son didn't have one so the battery's would die and this one takes actual batteries, not one of those watch batteries. My son is excited to use this for hurricane season.

It’s very nice but a little small but for the price it does make a nice add on to my little weather station

I am pleased with this thing. I need it to insure enough air flow after installing DC fans in the custom built mini RV air-conditioner (actually a converted dehumidifier). It is working well for that. I do wish the instructions were better. I did figure out that if I move it around the output register rapidly it will give me an average as it seems to take a few seconds to stabilize. For the price it's great. I can say that the turbine is very free moving and will spin for a long time after spin up. Holding it out my car window (some distance out) agrees well with the car speedometer. How long it will last I can't say.
