Bought this Photomyne remote to use with the app and a stand to scan in photographs from a collection of old family photo albums. The remote works great and as it’s supposed to, using it with an iPhone. My one complaint is the remote feels and looks like it’s cheaply made. I just purchased it, so we will see how long it lasts. I’m hoping it will last with no issues, but if I had to guess based on how it looks and was made I’d say not for very long, but I really hope I’m wrong.

I got this to use with my iPhone while taking photos at places such as airshows, zoos, and wild animal parks. Sometimes I take photos in rapid succession as a plane passes by or I hold the camera in place while waiting for an animal move to a more photogenic position. I hold the iP steady in my left hand and the Photomyne in my right hand with my thumb on the shutter release--so much better than holding both arms in the air for long periods of time. The Photomyne is quicker than pressing the shutter release on the iP. It has never missed a shot, it always pairs, and the battery is still going strong when my iP battery is depleted.

Using this, makes it very easy to scan pictures into your Photomyne account.

My hands are shaky now in my Golden years and with a stand for my phone and this separate button is immensely helpful!
