The Zima Dental Pod is a great device to clean your mouth guard or retainer and provides a very thorough clean. It's easy to use, you fill it with water, add a fizzy tab, pop in your retainer, and push the button. Post clean can be a bit difficult, as I noticed with the Zima Dental Pod, when you go to drain the water, droplets may get in the bottom of the device or power outlet. This unfortunately is what happened with mine most likely and resulted in it not working after 1 month of usage. However, the Zima Dental customer care team were incredibly kind, responsive, and empathetic to my situation and provided me another one to replace it. I ended up receiving a Zima Dental Pod PRO for my troubles and highly recommend it as it has a better design where the base is bigger and droplets of water aren't as likely to drop into danger zones while cleaning. Lucy who was the care rep that took care of me is phenomena! One of the kindest and supportive customer reps I've ever had, she has made my entire journey painless when I was on the brink of not even wanting to reach out believing nothing would be done...But she and Zima Dental has proven me completely wrong. I really appreciate all Lucy has done, from her kindness and follow up at each step, ensuring everything was handled with care. From one Customer Service Agent (IT Support Analyst) to another: Keep her on your team, give this girlie a raise and promotion! She is an absolute asset to you and deserves it. And to anyone on the fence about buying a Zima dental pod, do it! I love mine and enjoy my morning ritual of cleaning my retainer and knowing it's ready for the night!

Easy to use, and effective! My kids had been using denture cleaning tablets to clean their retainers post-braces, but this dental pod is so much easier and cleans so much better! Easy to drop the retainers in and clean them while they are brushing their teeth, and they're ready to use by the time they finish brushing. The pod seems to be high quality and durable, and is a great compact size that looks nice on the bathroom counter.

The original pod I ordered did not work after 5 uses. I was very disappointed because it is a little expensive. However, Customer service was excellent and they sent me a new pod that was a higher level model. The new pod works great. It keeps my son’s retainer very clean. He’s used it for about 3 weeks now and is very happy with how clean his retainer comes out. If you’re going to purchase this get the next level model.

I purchased the Zima Dental Pods on Amazon, but unfortunately the unit stopped working after only one use. I originally planned to return it, but Amazon suggested that I contact the manufacturer first. I’m really glad I did. After communicating with their customer service, they quickly confirmed that the product was defective and offered to send me a replacement. To my surprise, when I received the new unit, they upgraded me to the Pro version at no extra cost. This was completely unexpected and very appreciated. The Pro version comes with a separate charging base, which feels much safer and more durable, especially since it reduces the risk of water getting into the device. I’ve used it once so far to clean my dental aligners, and the result was amazing — my aligners came out looking like brand new, very clean and fresh. I’m very impressed not only with the cleaning performance, but also with the company’s excellent after-sales service. They were responsive, professional, and generous, and I even received the replacement before Christmas, which made it an extra nice surprise. If the product continues to perform well long-term, I believe this will be an excellent investment. Highly recommend both the product and this company. Thank you for the great service!

I had a great experience with the Zima Dental Pod. It does an excellent job cleaning my mouth guard and retainer, and I love how simple and intuitive it is to use. The design looks sleek, the size is perfect, and it easily fits my retainer. It is also very easy to clean and maintain, which I really appreciate. I did experience a minor electrical issue with my unit, but the customer service experience completely exceeded my expectations. Lucy and the Zima team were incredibly responsive, kind, and professional. The entire replacement process was smooth, stress free, and handled quickly. No product is perfect, but what truly matters is how a company stands behind it. Zima absolutely did. Unit worked great, did a good job keeping my retainer clean. Then one day, after about a month, it stopped working. I reached out to Zima support and they were great. They quickly replaced the unit with no fuss. One small thing, I wish the on/off switch were more tactile. 5 stars for the amazing support.

Was sick of brushing my 18 year old retainers and them still feeling grimy, decided to try this and am very glad I did. They come out so much cleaner than they did when I’d brush them, and some of the older cloudiness and marks are fading. The device itself is very easy to use and has so far worked great. I especially love that it looks cute on my countertop so I can just leave it out. The only thing I don’t love is that you have to be careful not to get water near the hole where it plugs in, which can be hard when you’re rinsing it out. I know the more expensive version has a top that comes off the base that fixed this issue but I feel it should have been standard on all of them. At the end of the day it’s a minor thing and I still very much like the product.
