Ordered this as a replacement for a 10+ year old Epson 2030. I've always ordered OEM replacements in the past and they have of course worked just fine but you often have to do your homework to ensure the seller (whether via Amazon or another site) are selling the real thing, and you will pay a premium for it. The bulb assembly fit nicely during install and the picture color and brightness are great. The real question will be how many hours of lamp life I get out of it. According to my projector stats, the last bulb had 4000 hours and it probably cost 40% more. Time will tell but so far, so good.

Direct replacement!
This bulb was a direct replacement for my Epson Home Cinema 1060. It was easy to install and worked without any problems. It did have a slight burning smell for the first ~45 minutes but no actual smoke. I chalk this up to dust burning off because I didn't have any problems with the projector or image. Not a huge deal but something to note. I will keep using the unit and update this review if I have any issues.

Good for an emergency spareā¦
As you can see in the photo and video, there is a red tint after installing the new bulb in my Epson HC 2250 today. There will be random bursts of red on the screen and I pulled up a white screen test video to verify what I was seeing. Glad to have something arrive quickly so I can at least use my projector through Christmas, but I will absolutely swap this one out when my order from Epson arrives.

Great replacement bulb!
Ok, this is a great replacement bulb. Posted a before and after pictures of my old bulb that had been in the projector for 5 years. It had yellowed the colors and it was very dim compare to before.The new bulb instantly fix my problems, gave new life to my projector and time will tell if it holds as well as the original bulb, but after 1 month (3 hours daily use), still looking sharp and new. Very easy to replace. Very happy with this replacement bulb.

Works great so far
It was easy to replace the epson bulb with this one. The unit looks exactly like the original sans the epson word on it. Three screws later, the projector looks brighter. Not sure of the lifespan yet. But seems to work great so far.

Restored brightness on my projector
I'm always a bit hesitant to buy a non-OEM replacement bulb, as it's hard to know for sure if they actually match up spec-wise with the original. For me, the main concern is brightness. I use this projector in the backyard with a very large screen, and the picture needs to be very bright. I've very happy with the Litance bulb - it is easily as bright as the original and a real bargain price-wise.Recommend.
