I buy these drives as they have the lowest rate of crashing, it’s value for money and I buy a drive every year , these drives are used for cloning data and I buy because of the quality of the drive . I have real time performance sheet for these specific drives and they don’t fail , easily installed !

Don’t forget to connect the power otherwise it might not turn on. It requires more than average power.

Amazon package arrived in Thailand without issue. Each drive was well packaged inside its own sealed Toshiba box with custom air cushion padding. The Toshiba boxes were packed inside a larger Amazon box, padded only by some crushed paper. The drives work well in my Synology DS1618+. The drives run quiet unless doing random seeking, where the seeking sounds are audible but not annoyingly loud.

Fast, inexpensive storage. This drive is great for storing large data, photos, and video files. Transfer speeds around 200MB/s for large files.

It was not working when I got it. It is going to take 30 days to replace.

Worked well out of the box and seems moderately fast (using a MacMini M4 and 8T SSD). It is amazing how even 20T is sometimes not enough for personal use (too many photos and videos). It is not silent during read/write, but the clicking sound is not disturbing and relatively subdued. It might be picked up, however, if recording audio when in use. Be sure to use a sufficiently powered and cooled enclosure (especially given the relative cost differentials).

Large capacity with middle mounting holes for non-server mounts. Great for home NAS and external enclosures.

Using 4 of these in my UGREEN 4800+ NAS. Working great! Not very loud either.
