Frozen Read-Along (Book and CD) Paperback – October 1, 2013

I got this book for my 4y/o girl and she has played through it 6x in the last 24 hours.The great part about this read-a-long is the audio is so full and lively. So many sound effects to draw you in to the story.As well as the original voices from the characters themselves.The pages are good quality, and the narration has specific "magic wand" type sound to let kids know when to turn the page (great for kids who haven't learned to read yet).Added bonus we stumbled upon:I imported the cd track into iTunes, so we could play it in the car or on appletv, and I opened up iBook ... And there was the read-a-long, with the picture pages and all!So I plan on adding many more of these books, they're a great deal.Albeit, they are fairly short in length. But,still worth every penny.

Had I known this gem was available here and for $4.99 no less, would have purchased so much sooner! Introduced my 3 year old niece to the library and this was her great find. After so many renewals, and barely returns and renewals again, it finally dawned on me to look it up. So glad I did. She’s attached at the hip, CD player or not. LOL

Got this to encourage my youngest granddaughter to read and it has done the trick. She loves it and proudly told me she can even read it without the CD now! As a former teacher I find read along systems to be great for children to get a head start on hreading - while some may be using rote memory - they still are learning word forms and will be encouraged when they see they understand those words in other settings! Highly recommend this, The CD recording is done in a very nice voice it is clear and conscise and the enonciation is spot on. Your child will undoubtedly enjoy the story too!

My daughter loves these books. This is the second one we have bought. The narration, the little sound clips of the actual movie, and sound effects are very engaging. Every time we get into the car she wants to read her books, which is great for my little 5 year old. The price is wonderful, and I know eventually I will have all of them! I just love these!

We have not seen the movie Frozen yet, but I've heard about friends' kids being upset by some aspects the ending. Reading this read-along (and in our family's case - listening to it several hundred times) definitely takes the edge off the impact of the end - probably not so great for older kids or adults, but good for younger kids who might get overwhelmed. And movie aside, this is a good storybook - and the read-along aspect is fun for the car.

We haven't listened to the CD yet. This is my 3 years old new favorite bedtime book. We love the frozen movie! However, this book is just ok, it's long and somewhat boring( how can that be, we love the movie, idk?) it just is. It also really bothers me that when someone is speaking they don't include their name. If we didn't own the movie, this could be very confusing. I always add "said Elsa/Anna/Olaf,etc." but for a parent/child whom has never watched frozen, how would they know who's saying what? It caught me off guard the first read and I've seen the movie 50+ times. For the $4 I paid and the fact my child loves it, it was a great buy. I wouldn't pay more than that though, I'm sure there are far better "Frozen" books out there.

My daughter, like everyone, loves the Frozen movie. She is 5 and like to read books, but also needs stories that are not too long so she can follow along well. This is a good combination of length and detail and makes it easy for her to "read" along. She listens to it frequently. The story is told well and as kid CDs go, it is not particularly annoying when you hear it a few hundred times.

This book should be purchased by everyone who had seen Frozen! It is so cute, story is accurate from movie and the CD reads the book aloud with great voices!!! The book is so inexpensive, worth much more that it costs. Having the CD is great because the actor was reading it, not Grammy, so I enjoyed just cuddling and listening to her! she loved turning the pages! too when the twinkle sound came! she was ready!!!💖Grammy b
