I chose this system over the comparable Powertec system due to it being significantly less expensive and there was a sale where it was $150 off. I feel like that is an incredible value when you think of how well it is constructed and the number of exercises you can do on it. Here are a few thoughts:1) Packaging-this was delivered in two large boxes. They are heavy. The boxes were beat up a bit but the contents were not damaged. Kudos to GMWD for doing a grab job packing the equipment.2) Assembly-you'll need ample space to lay out the parts. I would highly recommend grabbing a few post-it notes to label the various bolts and other hardware when you take it out of the blister packs. Just unpacking and laying out the parts took me about 45 minutes. I assembled half of the gym by myself without any real issues. I did enlist the help of my wife on the last few steps. In total, it probably took me about 2 hours to completely assemble (this was in addition to the time unpacking the pieces).3) Use-I've had it for two weeks now and I couldn't be happier. I wish I would have bought this a long time ago. For reference, I'm 6'4 and feel like the leverage gym is a great size. I haven't squatted on the machine, other than to test the attachment bar, as I'm dealing with a foot injury. With that said, I still feel like there is another range of motion for me. Figuring out the optimal way to structure your workout takes about 2-3 times. Once you've figured that out, you won't be spending too much time moving plates and changing the pin location on the leverage arms. The cable system works great as do the attachments that were provided.Overall, this is a great system for someone who wants to get in a good workout at home. I'd definitely recommend to others.Bonus Points-my original cable for the pulley system was damaged and GMWD sent me a replacement. It arrived only a couple days after I submitted the request online. Great customer service and glad they stand behind their product.

This gym is very solid for the cost. Materials feel sturdy and the movements feel good. Shipping was pretty quick. Came in three boxes on 2 different days. A couple of cons though.1. There were a couple bolt holes that were not aligned properly due to bad welding. This increased my assembly time and effort as I had to go to the hardware store to buy some files and file the holes down in order for the bolts to go through and so the middle column can be flush with the bottom half of the frame that it slips into. The manufacturer should really have better Quality assurance steps in place.2. The instructions are not the greatest. For the leg padding, the instructions don't mention anything about how tight to tighten the bolts. I had to untighten the bolt a bit in order for the leg padding to be able to move up and down how it's supposed to.All in all, the end product is good. Just be prepared to struggle a bit with assembly if you get some bad pieces. Also, a good ratchet set is a must to speed up the assembly process. Customer service also responded to a few inquiries promptly during the shipping process so kudos for that.

Update after vendor response: I have upgraded my rating to 5 stars for this. Let me be clear, the complaints I have with this product still stand (assuming the design has not changed) but the customer support and the way these guys took care of my issue has raised my view of the product and this company. They contacted me as soon as they saw the review and worked on a solution for me by providing me straps that I could attach to my squat bar to make it work for squats. I just tried it and they work great. It gives me great confidence in the company that they would work with me and get me what I needed to fix the issue.Previous review: This machine cannot be used for squats because the squat bar keeps slipping out of the lever arms. I can't imagine what would have happened if it slipped out in the middle of one of my sets. The pin in the squat bar is too small or the bar itself is too long.I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the machine itself is great for everything else and decently priced. It's just so sad that the squat bar is defective cause it could have been a great machine otherwise. It seemed to work well initially but it got worse as I put more weight. Currently I've got 100 lbs. on each lever and the squat bar slips out randomly. Maybe the extra weight caused some sort of flexing which makes the bar slip out... not sure. Hopefully they update the squat bar and fix it.

Solid construction, pretty easy to put together. Although the plastic covering of the bottom cable for the pulley has ripped and now a part of it is metal on the pulley system. Good luck trying to get ahold of the company they do not respond. I've tried calling and emailing... Nothing.

Wife and I both love this machine. easy to use, great workouts, safe operation.

It's a budget buy. You won't confuse it with a 2000 dollars machine, but it works very well. Pretty sturdy.

Received replacement part very fast

Quaility is good. Easy to assemble with a partner. Sturdiness good for 6 ft 275 lbs hubby. Value was not so good but it does the job. Our package was late & they did apologize & accommodate for lateness.
