Q: Can you take the drawers out completely? I want to use just 2 of them. And use the spare for storage elsewhere in my room.

Yes you can do that, but the drawers contribute significantly to the rigidity of the wire mesh cage. You can't put anything really heavy on the cage once drawer(s) are removed. I have my 22+ kg printer stacked on a side-by-side double set of these, but never take the drawers completely out.

Q: Can these be stacked if I were to buy 2?

Exactly as it looks in picture. A4 paper feeds in length wise with the narrow end at front of drawer.
