I am a woman and purchased this to use to make my bikini line and armpits look smoother between shaving. I don’t mind shaving every day, but the little dark spots left behind from the hair roots on my medium light skin were bothersome. I’ve been using this approximately three times per week on SHR mode for the past two months and have absolutely notice a significant difference. The hair roots are less visible and the skin in those areas looks and feels much smoother. I had used it on my face at a lower setting to treat a couple of stray hairs on my jawline, and actually have noticed a reduction in dark spots on my face. That wasn’t why I bought it but it was a very pleasant surprise. I have not used laser hair removal devices before, but this one is quite comfortable and the cooling technology is excellent, as others have said. It has a good design, is easy to use and seems to be excellent quality. I will continue to use this device for maintenance, would absolutely purchase it again and recommend it to others. Update—I’ve used this about 2 times weekly for the past 2 months (after using every other day for the first 2 weeks) and it is working great for bikini line and armpits. Also continues to work great for age/sun spots on my face, despite my dermatologist telling me it probably wouldn’t. For the past 2 weeks I have used this on my daughter’s mild KP which is on the backs of her upper arms and thighs, and it has worked great even after just 4 treatments. I use SHR and glide mode 100% of the time for both of us and while the device gets hot after a while, I have had no functional issues.

I am beyond impressed with the Air 10. After years of spending thousands of dollars on various ways of trying to get rid of body hair, I finally decided to try an at-home option, and I’m so happy I did. This is, hands-down, the best, IPL device on the market. From the first use, I could tell the Air 10 was on a completely different level. The ice-cooling tip kept my skin cool and not burning like the nood one. Even on in the downstairs area, it didn't hurt at all (it was a little cold, but thats ok if its a choice between a little cold and burning my dick off.) I didn't have to worry about cooking my skin like a hotdog. I also liked the skin sensor thing because I definitley didn't want to research or trial and error with my skin tone and all that, and I'm happy I can just have it go and not even think about intensity or anything, super easy. I’ve been using it for like 6ish weeks now, and the results are phenomenal. My legs, armpits, pubes, and even my upper lip are basically hairless now. Sometimes I get a coouple thin hairs but it's definitley less and less. I barely need to shave anymore, like once every two weeks or something like that. Plus, the SHR mode is great for armpits, and i've seen the fastest and most noticable results there where I've been using it. The Air 10 is so easy to use, a moderately smart monkey could figure it out. It's beautifully designed, and 100% worth the money. If you're looking for permanent hair reduction at home, look no further, because this is it. If you are tired of razors, waxing, and ingrown hairs, or any of that other BS, this is the way to solve that problem, permenantly. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. This is the best home laser hair removal device I’ve tried, and I’ve tried the nood, braun and phillips ones (my wife wanted to try a couple, all have been returned.) Don’t waste your money on the others, especially the cheap ones. The Air 10 actually works, and delivers the best hair removal results I have ever seen at home. Also, the little folding sunglasses are actually pretty nice, I like that I can put them in my pocket when I'm not wearing them. I use them as regular sunglasses sometimes for this reason. i've used razor blades for about a decade+ for my arms and underarms every shower. every 2 days, hair just sticks out and makes me super self-conscious, so i hide it with long sleeves even in the summer. say that i buy those expensive packs of razor blades ($50~60AUD) every 8 months. that'd mean i have bought up to at LEAST $750~900AUD worth of razor blade cartridges since i started shaving. not to account the prices that go up and down! with this purchase, im making sure that i dont need those anymore! i have been using this on my arm and underarm since the 18th of august, in a routine of using it every 2 days. 1 month later as to writing this (23rd of september), i just noticed that there hasnt been any noticeable growth!! im excited about the results! i'll move on to using this on my legs soon, and i can't wait! at first, it hurt using it in certain areas like the back of my hand or lower parts of my underarm.. even in normal mode. however nowadays, i consistently use SHR (super hair removal) for my underarms. back of the hand still hurts, but i definitely got used to it! lightly flick your finger onto the back of your hand, that's how it feels. it just seems like it hurts more because of the intense flash of light it works just as intended and gets results in just as promised! i hate my body hair, so this purchase is the best i've ever done. MAKE SURE TO WEAR THE INCLUDED GLASSES!!

Ulike IPL Hair Removal Device for Women and Men, Safe for Use from Home, Purple I received a previous version of the Ulike hair removal system a while ago, and have found it extremely effective for me. I was telling my sister how good I found it and so when offered the latest model I jumped at the chance. As me and my sister don't live very close to each other its not really practical to share mine. This is a really comprehensive machine and very simple to use. The set comes in really lovely packaging with a strong smart looking storage box, all the necessary cables, protective glasses, small razer and instructions. It can be used on the arms, legs, tummy, back, under arms and bikini area. It has lots of different settings to suit various skin sensitivities, these include: fast, normal, high and SHR modes. The machines work best on lighter skin shades and are not recommended for darker tones. They work best at removing darker hair and are not recommended for blond or grey hair. After use its a good idea to moisturise your skin. It is best to give a quick shave of the area you intend to treat the day before as you need a tiny bit of hair remaining. Having one of these machines is perfect for home use as you can use it every few days to start with, without the problem of having to book an appointment at a salon. Even though the initial outlay is high, it can actually work out cheaper in the long run, especially if sharing it with others in your household. My daughter has a couple of friends round and they have a chat and a beauty session once a week. The machine is pain free and works best if you use it more frequently to start with but you can reduce the sessions after just a few weeks. I really lovely machine which I highly recommend.

This came very well presented in retail packaging. Upon opening the box, the contents sit snuggly in their own little resting place and includes instructions. The machine itself looks very professional and is easy to hold and easy to navigate. I absolutely love that it automatically detects skin tone and adjusts accordingly. It is suitable for most skin tones and hair colours, but there is a handy guide to educate about this, so no need to spend ages researching the net. This is able to be used all over the body, and if used consistently results can be seen very quickly, which is absolutely fantastic! Just in time for summer! The coverage is much larger on this unit than I expected it to be, and I like the dual lights, meaning you get to blast those unwanted hairs sooner rather than later! That said, neither the unit nor the light pulse have overheated, even when my daughter did her lower legs. There are different modes to choose from depending where on the body you wish to treat and your own skin sensitivity. Again, details about this are clearly explained in the instructions. I have tried it on my underarms and have not experienced any discomfort or soreness afterwards. It is still early days for me, as it was only delivered last week, but so far, I am very impressed with the unit itself and what I am seeing and experiencing. I realise the price is very high at £499, but it offers convenience and saves time. I can’t personally get out to the salon, so this is ideal for me! Very pleased and happy to recommend it.
