LOVE this book
Ive made nearly everything in it! The receipes are easy to follow look appetising and taste really good. I have recommended it to a number of my friends. I am not a vegetarian but I found this book offered a nice balance. Written by a Cardiologist he gives an insight into diet disrupters and some foods that can do you more harm than good! Ultimately it is a "Cook Book" which I really appreciated but there was also a lot of information in it I didnt know.

Useful
More suited to the US lifestyle but still a great guide for UK readers. My family are healthier and we've lost lots of weight following the guidelines.

So-far-so-obsessed with this book
So-far-so-obsessed with this book, which seems to make such intuitive sense. I have already begun to adjust my eating patterns (in terms of embracing fasting days) and taking on board the dangers of lectins in relation to 'gut-health'. It's such an old, obvious, adage, but we really are of course what we eat, and everything we need, in its whole food form, is right here on this planet if we just stop, observe and respect our nutrition in order to preserve our health. Directly in relation to the cookbook, it's very well put together and gives a fair summary of Dr Steven Gundry's Plant Paradox theory, without having to purchase a copy of the more detailed book on the theory (although I'm sure it would be worth it for those who want to dig deeper into Gundry's philosophy). Despite being based in the UK, almost all of the ingredients Gundry refers are easy for me to access; the recipes offer a wide range of appetisers, snacks: soups & stews, main meals, vegetables, sides and sweets - as well as sauces, excellent condiments and dressings. For those looking to change the way they nourish their minds, (in terms of responsible bio-diversity), and their bodies from a lifelong perspective on healthy eating - as opposed to a faddish experiment - I highly recommend this book.

Hit and miss
I have made about 10 of the recipes with very mixed results. Even though have converted cup measurements correctly I have struggled with the different muffin recipes. I was really looking forward to ‘Mac and Cheese’ and ‘lasagna’ recipes and really disliked both. Good for inspiration but you need to rework to make more palatable.

Excellent
Summary of philosophy is succinct. Very interesting. The best introduction to the paradox. Expensive but well produced.
