JanomeConcealed Zipper Foot for Horizontal Rotary Hook Models

Ordered this presser foot acording to discription of product and referance numbers. When receiving subject product it was the wrong size for my jarome machine. I called Precision sewing company with phone number provided. The customer service represenative reviewed the product numbers found the correct part number, sent me a return label and sent a new presser foot that worked well. Grest company to deal with and excellant product, got everything settled in less than a week

This zipper foot was a life-saver. I had never inserted an invisible zipper, as I had always felt a bit intimidated by them. However, I needed to insert one in my wedding dress. I searched all over town for a decent one (not plastic) at a decent price, and found nothing. This little guy is sturdy and was reasonably priced. And it helped me insert the zipper with zero difficulties! Now I want to put invisible zippers in everything I make!

I've been sewing for decades, and never done much with invisible zippers because the feet have been hard to come by and difficult to use. While searching for a replacement blind hemming foot for my Janome 6500, I stumbled across this and ordered it. I thought it might help, because I'm going to need to install invisible zippers on my dress for my daughter's bridal shower and wedding this fall - a task I was dreading. I installed my first invisible zipper with this foot today, and it was wonderful. It holds the coils open very well, so the stitches are very evenly close to the coils. I was able to stitch to within 1/4" of the stop on the zipper without issue. To stitch the remainder of the seam, I used my L-bar zipper foot (not the double zipper foot that came with the machine, which isn't worth using), zipped the zipper closed by about 2" and held the tail aside. The L-bar foot fits right in to finish the seam securely. I'm delighted with this zipper foot, and I think invisible zippers might just become my new favorite type.

I had three concealed zipper feet in the 48 piece pack that was supposed to fit my Janome 6600P as well as many others. All were out of alignment with my needle position by 1/32 to 1/16 inch which made the zipper not so concealed. Ugh! So I ordered this one by Janome. Oh what a difference a fraction of an inch makes! This foot installed my zipper smoothly and flawlessly...and invisibly ... the first time. So easy I vowed never to use any other zipper installation for clothing.

Another one I wanted to love, but just couldn't get it to work. My zipper was anything but concealed. I'll give it one more try, and if I can get it to work, will update my review. But so far, nothin' doin' pal. *sniff sniff*

I tried a generic zipper foot but it didn't quite work right. This foot is perfect (as it should be!).

I am very disappointed after going to the Janome site and checking the correct number for the Janome concealed zipper foot before I ordered this one and it does not fit my Janome skyline s5. Now I see that there is another foot that is specific for 9mm machines. Janome should make it VERY CLEAR which foot fits and which does not.
