After using a Shellac-based primer for a very big project in my house, and not being able to cover more than two pieces of furniture with a 2.5l, then extra 2ls, I found this babe at long last. With less than 1/4 of the amount, I was able to re-prime the previous pieces and cover 90% of the pieces that were not primed before. It's also a time savour because it doesn't dry instantly, it allows you to work with it spread so nice. I managed to prime 90% of the pieces in one day, whereas it took me 5 days to prime only 2 pieces with Shellac-based primer. The other product was deadly. I couldn't breathe, had signs of vertigo and I couldn't do it without the mask and goggles which produced excess fog and sweat and the whole thing become a real mess as I wasn't able to see what I'm painting! Of course, this product also smells since it's solvent based but it's a normal paint smell and to be honest in comparison to the Shellack, it's no bother at all! Also, the drying time for touch is less than 30 minutes. To repaint you have to allow what it says on the tin. I've just done this, yesterday. So I'm not sure about its ability to cover stains properly. But so far so good. I will try to make another review to add some comments after the whole project is finished.
