The Crew Midlayer Jacket just got better. This classic, cult-favorite jacket now features some improvements, but don’t be afraid as the iconic look remains clear: it’s The Crew. The updated logo design is a little more subtle, but clearly Helly Hansen. A new zipper stands up to deterioration for more durability and a sleeker look. Based on feedback from professional sailors, we’ve removed the plastic placard in the back yoke, but retained the hangar loop. We’ve adjusted the pocket placement and added PrimaLoft insulation at the shoulders for a smoother and warmer feel, even when the rain comes down. The all-purpose Crew is fully waterproof/breathable, windproof and warm, thanks to its HELLY TECH Protection technology – plus fleece lining. We enhanced it with smart sailing features: sealed seams, a high fleece-lined collar, adjustable hem and cuffs and dual zippered hand pockets and a hangar loop. A favorite with sailing teams, it features a “secret” zipper inside the jacket that makes it embroider-friendly, so your crew has its own look.

Great on the golf course
I love this jacket. The quality is top notch with well crafted seams and panels. Fit is great, not “athletic” snug, and not a baggy tent. It has just enough room/give to make it perfect for wearing during a round of golf in cool conditions, and even wet weather. Waterproofing is top notch. The jacket itself has light fill, so it’s not the jacket to wear in cold weather. However, I would note that I wear this with a down vest under, and the combo provides great warmth to around 45-50*, and I still have mobility to swing golf club. Have gotten many compliments on the stylish looks of this jacket.

Love the way it looks
This jacket looks fantastic, and the fit worked well for me. I chose a size small, and at 5'4", it fits comfortably. While the sleeves are slightly long, the adjustable velcro cuffs (perfect for this use) make it a non-issue.The white color is sleek and stylish, giving it a clean look. I also appreciate the fleece lining, which adds warmth and makes this a versatile option for cooler weather. Overall, it’s a great mix of function and style, perfect for various occasions!
