This sleeping bag is warm and light. It packs well and seems a great size for kids. The blue is a fun color. My toddler says it’s comfy. Overall i think it’ll last a while, making it worth the investment.

I bought this for my daughter to take to camp this summer, and when she picked this one out over the other one I had for her to choose from, I was a bit surprised. To me, the picture made the sleeping bag look very orange-pink and not quite as appealing, but I figured she was the one who was going to use it and it was the same price as the other, so I went ahead with it. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received it. The color looks much more pink and less orange in actuality, and my daughter was thrilled with it! Of course, I have always been impressed with the quality of Coleman camping items, and they didn't fall short with this one either. My daughter is 8, and I was worried that the sleeping bag would be too bulky and awkward for her to carry on her own, but it comes in a travel bag that you can actually get it back into easily, and she had no trouble carrying it. She loved the fact that there is a pocket in the sleeping bag for her flashlight. She has used the sleeping bag several times since camp, and it has held up very well. Would definitely recommend!

I still have my old coleman mummy bag for "adults" which I get lost in, and it's wonderful, but twice the size I needed. Finally got smart (yes, it took 79 yrs..so there is hope for you, too.) and saw in one of the small bags for kids UP TO 5 FEET children. I'm not that tall, and a bit wider if I'm being honest, but this bag for kids is perfect for my "almost 5' tall" person. I use it in my hammock..light to back pack, and perfect for summer.Since I rarely get the hankering to sleep in a hammock at -12 F even with two underquilts and everything the hammock will hold to make a nest. If you are skinny and 5' ...give it a try. You can always give it to a kid if you don't fit. Hint: I make a foot box by zipping up the bottom about 2 feet and putting the zipper on the "bottom" and use it as a big quilt over the top or myself. Snug, easy in and out and your feet don't hang off your sleep mat and get cold.
