Forever Beautiful: All-American Style All Year Long

I love his books. Filled with lovely photos of beautiful rooms and homes, his books are truly inspirational. This is a beautiful book, and his interior designs are just beautiful.

Mark D. Sykes has done it again! This book is absolutely gorgeous and inspiring. I love the organization by month. The different locations, the attention to the smallest details which make all the difference in an overall look. The photos are stunning. If you love an interesting mix of color, antiques and contemporary pieces and design styles blended to create a classic look, this book is for you! Love it!

This is a beautiful book. I love all the pictures and details. I always look at my design books first and then go back through and page by page read the details and look closer at the pictures. Such a feast for the eyes! The can look at this one often.

What a well made book on how to express love of nature in the color blue of the ocean and sky. Earth tones also used as the seasons change. Nature has the very best color combinations inside and out. Arrangement details in all things are the most beautiful.

Mark Sikes is my favorite designer of all time. This book, like his previous books, tells the story of timeless accessible design. Less blue a white, and more daring colors. Totally classic. There are some really innovative ideas here, like the way they designed a runner for an unusual staircase. So many lovely details. I’m reading slowly to make it last.

It is a beautiful book, although as someone living in the North I would have liked more of a true linking to the seasons. January and February were all done in warm climates and December felt a bit formulaic. October was also blah and lacking the cozy feeling. Despite the criticism, overall it is a nice book and well photographed

Many beautiful rooms. I didn’t care for the commentary by the smaller photos - often stating the obvious. Would rather have had larger photos and no text. But that’s a small quibble. I have all his books bc his take on traditional style never feels heavy or overly formal.
