Wooster Shortcut Brush 2"

This brush is freakin amazing. I’m currently at the tail end of the arduous task of painting the extremely porous brick walls in my backyard and let me tell you, this brush is IT! I have tried practically every paintbrush and roller out there and hands down this is the BEST brush to get in all those holes with little to no pressure PLUS I waste way less paint when I use the brush. How do I know this? Well, I have 3 brick walls in the backyard. The first wall is porous, but not overly so. I used a regular paint brush and a roller, then at the tail end bought this brush and I swear I was able to finish it in record time. Of course I immediately forgot this and when I couldn’t find the little brush for the 2nd wall I decided to use the same regular paintbrush and roller I used on the last wall figuring it would be a breeze. Omg you guys. It was SO HARD. The priming part was ok because I had like... a 5 gallon bucket of primer and a devil may care attitude about how much I was using because it’s cheap. But when I got to painting with the $70 a can of paint, I actually had to buy a whole other can because I had to use OBSCENE amounts of the paint to get in all the tiny holes plus, it was absolutely backbreaking work. I literally wept when I took a bath at night I was so sore. After I finished painting that wall, I immediately remembered what made the 1st wall so easy to paint and bought this brush again for the third wall. I’m so happy I smartened up and bought this again. I am whipping through painting this last wall, I’ve used WAY less paint, and my back and arms aren’t killing me! I left a short video so you could see how fast it gets in the little brick holes.😘 It’s easy to clean, easy to hold, and it works great on both brick and wood staining. The only thing I wish was that there was a larger version of this brush that I could find. I feel a little ridiculous painting this giant wall with an itty bitty paintbrush, but it’s going a lot faster than anything else I’ve used so I can’t complain.🤷🏽‍♀️ I feel like there has GOT to be a larger version of this brush but like, maybe I’m not looking up the right words or something? Even if there isn’t a bigger one out there I’m not upset about it because this one is totally getting the job done and I am more than pleased with my purchase.🥳🥳🥳

Dear blue paint tape: I'm breaking up with you. Today I painted straight lines with the Wooster shortcut 2" angled brush. While using my new brush I realized just how much time and money I have wasted on you. Also, you never once encouraged me to paint a straight line without your help. The Wooster brush did, and it was so easy and dare I say satisfying. I will cherish the good times we had. Remember that time I used you with dark gray paint in my kitchen and you allowed the paint to bleed all over my new floors? When I removed you it looked like a toddler had painted my kitchen. I had a good laugh. Also, my dogs will miss getting to play with you when I'd roll you into a big sticky ball at the end of a day of painting. I wish you well, but it's over. On a serious note, this is great brush at a great price. It makes cutting in easy and your lines will be straight and look great. The bendable handle is great. Also, it cleans up like a dream. I recommend it.

I just love these brushes. I have been using them for a long time. I keep them clean, run them thru the ultrasonic cleaner at times. I love how they fit and feel in my hand. Almost like an extension. I can get into tight corners as well as run a nice straight line. They hold paint well and flex well. Amazon price was better than the local box store where i normally get them.

I am getting ready to buy a couple more of these paint brushes. I bought a couple a few years ago and they are the very best brushes I have ever used. I no longer buy all the tape, edgers and other useless stuff. Use these brushes with a light hand, light on the paint and they cut in perfectly. I actually have other uses for these brushes as well. Great for dusting knick knacks and getting into tight little grooves where dust can uglify if you don't get it out. I use them on electronics too and even cleaning air vents and all those nooks and crannies in your car. I keep one handy in my truck and everything looks brand new. I am sure I could list more uses but you get the picture. Having the short handle makes it so easy to use too!

My favourite 2-inch paintbrush. Wooster makes great paint brushes and this one fits my smaller hand so well. Great quality and value; last a long time.

Wooster makes some of the finishes brushes you can buy.. and while this one is from their more affordable collections it’s still a quality brush. They can be short keyhole handle fits nicely and makes a big difference painting around trim corners.

Nice brush that cleans up easily and does not shed. The length of the bristles and the short handle offers great control when painting. I found this brush to be a especially functional when painting in areas next to molding. I was able to control the bristles and paint distribution in such a way that the paint laid down on the flat surface of the cabinet without touching the molding that surrounded it.

The quality of this brush is great, the bristles are soft. When you wash them up to reuse them they are as soft as when you bought them. I highly recommend them. Very reasonable priced;.

Lovely brush, my cutting in skills leave a lot to be desired, but this brush made the job a lot easier. Washed up nicely ready to go again, ordered another 1 for if this 1 dies on me.

Not really different than other brushes in corners

LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush. Super comfy to hold for long periods, and the bristles make such perfect clean lines. Highly recommend!
