Good value, easy to install.
I was looking for a simple antique brass light fixture for my 10-year-old Casablanca fan. Casablanca (parent company is Hunter) has basically discontinued antique brass, so I took a chance that this Westinghouse fixture would match. I’d say it’s about a 95 percent color match, which is good enough for me. The fixture is pretty basic, and the shade is thin glass, but considering the low price, that’s to be expected. You can buy much fancier glass shades from other sources to upgrade the look if you want. It’s a 4” fitter. It came with an LED bulb, but you can screw any kind of standard Edison base bulb in. It was easy to install on my fan by removing a screw cap on the bottom junction box under the fan motor. The Westinghouse light kit just screws into that and hooks up to the existing wires in the fan.

And then there was light!!
While I did not install this light kit myself, my electrician had it up and running in a matter of ten minutes. The unit matches my existing ceiling fan perfectly and illuminates my home office with just a flip of a switch. I was surprised to see the kit included all the hardware necessary for installation, making installation quick and easy. Super fast shipping; very well packaged to avoid breakage; all inclusive and an outstanding price point. Thank you!!

Dim bulb but works fine.
I converted a 4 flower light kit to this School house light. It is about the same height, but appears to take up less space vertically.It worked well, but the bulb was not bright enough, so I had to pay $8 for another brighter, dimmable, daylight led bulb.

Perfect fit to 20-year-old Hunter fan that had no light
Simple install: Cut power; 2 screws on side of fan; screw out "plug" (threaded rod); connect black & white on fan labeled "for light"; screw threaded rod into fan; done.

Replaced broken one. Looks perfect and fit perfect.

Wrong size.
My installer came out to change out my current lights on my ceil fans but the new lights are too big to fit.

Works Great!
Purchased as replacement for broken light on ceiling fan that was 8 yrs old. Easy to install and fairly priced.

Easy to install
The light kit was easy to install and works great. I would have given it 5 stars but the lip of the globe had a chip broken out of it when we received it. We were able to place the broken part in such a way that the metal top covered it, so the break cannot be seen.
