True Sanitizer for CPAP Equipment
I honestly cannot live without this but here's how I use it. I noticed a lot of online comments just needing to make some adjustments in order to reap the benefits of how good this product actually is. It is the best disinfectant and sanitizer out there. First off, I NEVER, ever do 4 hours. That's overkill. So I have found 1-1/2 hours to 2 hours is plenty. Secondly, I only use this once per week, not every day. In the interim, I have like 3-4 other pre-wash soap products I use for CPAP cleaning. This is the one I like to use on the weekend in order to truly kill all germs, bacteria, etc. and disinfect the equipment thoroughly. In terms of usage, it DOES tell you how much to use. I use a 1/2 cup (4 ounces) in a full tub of water. I purchase a white Rubbermaid tub that I maintain daily solely for CPAP equipment soaking. So once per week (I always do mine on Saturday or Sunday = the weekend), plus only 4 oz (1/2 cup) in a full gallon tub of hot water, and I soak everything for 1-1/2 hours. If I'm slightly late, it goes to 2 hours. But 4 hours could actually damage the plastic components. You just don't need that much time in the bath. So if you follow these guidelines, you will see that this product is terrific and I've been using it for years. Can't live without it. It's the one time in which I feel all of my CPAP components are really clean. After soaking, I rinse my CPAP components thoroughly, dry them and lay them out on a kitchen towel to further dry, and then use my CPAP home dryer to thoroughly dry everything before bedtime. With the dryer, I don't use the full 3 dots, only 2 dots of drying selection for the cycle which is around 1/2 hour. That ensures the components are thoroughly dry before sleeping. The more dry the components, the better the mask fit for air suction. No water gets into your lungs, and that's important (to avoid fungus or mildew). But don't let the negative reviews discourage you. It is a product I cannot live without because the CPAP components are so clean after every weekly usage. One bottle will last 8 soakings = 4 oz. x 8 = 32 ounces. So that's a 2-month supply if used on the weekends.

Keep your CPAP mask/hose clean.
Everyday I wash and rinse my CPAP equipment. Every week I place it all in a bucket with a bit of this concentrate and let it soak for awhile, then rinse off. I do notice a freshness and cleanliness to my equipment after using this than just the daily soap. There is no scent or colour. I feel I can safely use this on all mask/hose equipment-no stains, water or chemical spots, bleaching occurs. It uses stabilized chlorine dioxide (2%) to sanitize.

Missed part
There was no measuring cup with the product to help dispense as per handling instructions. Cleaning is by judgement which is not working. Is this able to be sent?

Easy, Mild, Yet Effective CPAP Cleaner
I had a lot of trouble getting my CPAP hoses clean before I found this stuff. I ended up damaging some of the hoses and not having very good results with various other methods. This solution gets the smell out of the hoses, leaves them smelling fresh, and doesn't have an adverse effects on the equipment. Most importantly, my nose isn't stuffed up at all in the morning at all for the next 3-4 days. I soak my hoses and reservoir once a week.Soaking is an easy process and the solution seems pretty mild; it's 2% stabilized chlorine dioxide (98% water) before dilution. Using 4 oz per soak (diluted with 1.75 gallons of water) weekly, one bottle will last you 8 weeks.I bought the starter kit first, but if I had known better I would have just bought this and found my own container to use. I do like the square bucket that came with the starter kit, but you could just as easily use any container your equipment will fit comfortably inside.

I never want to run out again!
I love this! I purchased a bunch of it when I got my CPAP machine a year ago. I recently ran out of it and just used dish soap for a few weeks. I ended up with some kind of lung infection, and had pain in my chest every morning. Once I cleaned my equipment with this again it slowly went away. I am going to try to never run out again! I swear by it for keeping everything in healthy condition.
