2 Mil Red Mulch,Red Plastic Film Plastic Mulch for Strawberries, Tomatoes, Peppers, Watermelon,Carrots, Corn (4FTx25FT)

I had planned to use this in my vegetable garden but, I made a new flower bed and decided it would be better used there. I dug out the top layer of grass but, didn't want to dig too deep so, I didn't get all the roots. So, to suffocate all the roots and keep the grass from taking over again, I used this. It was long enough that I was actually able to double layer it for extra measure. So far, nothing has come through. We do have some crab grass and I'm sure it will make its way through but, fortunately there's not a lot of it.

I trusted the word "red" in the name and description of this item, even though the website color looked Pink. Don't make the same mistake - this IS PINK, not Red. I wish I could return this item :-(

It's very pink, not red. I thought was gonna be thicker but wasn't so had to double it up. Wouldn't recommend.

I will admit, I was surprised at how thin 2 mill is. Initially I thought they sent the wrong product but the add clearly states what it is. Despite being thin I am looking forward to seeing if I can tell a difference at the end of the growing season. Currently I have it installed in one of two virtually identical beds.It is worth mentioning that this restricts side dressing your plants with fertilizers. I use Epson salt around the water line of my tomatoes and this definitely makes that harder unless you cut it back from the stems.

The red color lasted all of 15 days...this is JUNK and will never buy again save your money and buy from burpee or another reputable seller not Amazon as all the plastic mulch i purchased from Amazon has turned out to be trash

This is a good method of protecting the beds from pests and weeds. The thickness will last all season and if maintained should be able to be used again.

Very clearly after laying them out next to each other, they are not the same size…

It'll do the job but I wish it had been red as advertised.
