I typically do not like the taller caps. See picture with this cap in the middle of two other caps as a comparison. I guess maybe this cap is this tall in order to monogram a team logo or mascot. If you like the taller caps, then you would probably like this one. It appears to be well made.

Don't worry if your ball cap arrives with a deep groove in the front. It is only the plastic form inside the cap. Once you take that out and "pop" the cap into shape it looks fine. The bill of the cap is stiff and can be styled into a curve that suits your preferences. Additionally, the hat is adjustable and can fit most head sizes ranging from 6 7/8" to 7 3/8".
