I purchased the Simpatch in skin tone nude color to use with my freestyle libre sensor. The sensor came loose twice and fell off so I was looking for a solution to keep it secure. The Simpatch was the perfect solution to keep my sensor in place giving it a smooth durable cover for added protection. The Simpatch adhesive patch stayed on after showers and never got loose. The smooth cover made the sensor more secure and it no longer got caught on clothing. Also the skin tone made my sensor less noticeable when I had to wear a short sleeved shirt. The Simpatch adhesive patch is perfect for the freestyle libre sensor.

My insurance does not cover my Freestyle Libre Constant Glucose Monitoring system so I pay 100% out-of-pocket. After I put the sensor on the back of my arm for the first time, I kept accidentally knocking the sensor against things. At $42.00 a sensor I was afraid I was going to knock it off of my arm so I taped it up with surgical tape. I looked online for something better and less messy than the tape I used and found SIMPATCH. It works great and doesn't leave a sticky mess when it is time to change sensors. It also looks and feels much better. It holds the sensor so well it lasts the life of the sensor.

I have a Guardian 3 Sensor and I hated the Medtronic Tegaderms. I purchased these as an alternative and wasn’t disappointed. They are easy to apply one handed, don’t give you the black adhesive ring or leave the messy residue, and are discreet. They held strong of the entire length of my sensor and there was plenty of strong adhesive left when I removed it, it didn’t even peel up around the edges. I am very happy with the SIMPATCHs and will be a long time customer! Thank you!

I am using the Freestyle Libre system. Only one sensor (until now) lasted the full 10 days without falling off. I just finished 10 full days with the sensor covered by a Simpatch. Boys and girls, the Simpatch works! I only needed the one patch for the entire 10 days. It held the sensor securely, through several showers. I am a side sleeper and no problem through that either. By day 10, the patch was a bit grungy however. I would have needed a new one soon, but hey, the 10 days was up! The Simpatch was comfortable; no problems. This is a great product and so far, it seems to have solved the problems with Freestyle Libre sensors falling off.

I just started using/wearing the Freestyle Libre sensor. The very first sensor I put on came off after only 2 days, needing something to hold the sensor on i order a strap style & this patch..... the arm band style was a little uncomfortable for me, put this patch on and this has been on for 6 days and just starting to show signs of coming off. It's had been threw 5 showers. I do pat it dry as soon as getting out and I try to keep it out of direct water from the shower head.Also what I like about the patch is that it does not put constant pressure on the sensor like the arm band style does.Will be using these from now on.

These adhesive patches are the best I've ever used! I used them to adhere my Enlite glucose sensor/transmitter. I am allergic to the overtape that comes with the sensors. I hope this product is always available, I can hardly feel the Simpatch; it's very thin, flexible and comfortable. In the attached photo, I've had the simpatch on for 5 days! Even after showering it isn't rolling up at the edges!

I got these to go over my Medtronic Guardian sensor (670G system). I was having a lot of sensitivity towards the Medtronic oval tape; my skin would stay red and bumpy for a week after I removed the adhesive. I don't have nearly as much of a reaction with this tape.Pros: nice if you have light skin, the nude color is subtle. The tape is quite large, so it covers a lot of extra space, keeping your sensor secure. Soft & flexible. Easy to apply.Cons: stays wet for quite a while after you shower, unsure if this is bad for the sensor although I doubt it since the sensor should be waterproof. No colors for darker skinned people. Solid color, so you can't see through to the sensor/insertion site (although I don't know why you really would need to TBH). I found that sometimes the adhesive would pool/concentrate in certain areas, especially if it was an area that received a lot of pressure. This made it really difficult to remove at times. It also peels up quicker than the Medtronic tape.Overall I would HIGHLY recommend also investing in an adhesive remover. Get the tape slightly wet before removing, this makes the process a little easier. This is a great alternative for people who may have sensitivities to the normal oval tape.

I'm currently on my second one of these. The first lasted the full 10 days of my Libre sensor and the sensor itself was really difficult to remove because it's adhesive hadn't been worn down by being knocked or caught during wear. I did have to keep trimming the edge of the first one because, when we were applying it, one finger tip touched the adhesive and when they say that touching it really diminishes the adhesive, they meant it. Other than the peeling that started from that one area, the rest of the edge of the patch held firm. My current patch was applied with no mishaps and is sticking perfectly.I'm a side sleeper and I couldn't risk sleeping on that side of my body because I was worried about knocking the unprotected sensor off by accident. The patch removes that worry for me, it's made a great difference.

This Simpatch fits perfectly over the sensor of my wife's FreeStyle Libre. We are very pleased with this product and will continue to make further purchases. Thank you.

Poor product, poor design and functionality. Bad refund policy

They are very expensive. I wear them for my Freestyle Libre unit and they don’t stay 100% on. Usually, by the time I have to swap my device (every 2 weeks), the patch has fallen off 1/3. I have started apply a sticky, spray, compound - before adding the patch, but now with a lot of success. For about $2 a unit, I feel that they should work better. The good news, although the patch starts to fall off, it does protect the unit. After a couple of months of using the patches, I have yet to lose a unit prematurely with a patch on (even just partially on).

The patch is very easy to apply. It will last about a week through daily showers. It will need to be replaced before the sensor does, and it can be a bit tricky to remove without disturbing the sensor. That would be my only complaint about the product. I feel like if there was a adhesive free area that could lay over the sensor, that would make replacing the patch easier to accomplish. Otherwise I am very happy with this product.
