Manduka X All Purpose Fitness Mat

TL:DR- great mat with a long breaking in period, very thick and comfortable, DOES NOT SLIP very hard wearing. I’ve had the Matt now for about a month. I’ve read from other reviews and know from using my partners mat that there is a long “breaking in” period and this true for this Matt. This means that I’ve found the mat was difficult to roll up tightly, when I first started using the mat. At first, I found my feet and hands slipping from sweat during some yoga session but these small slips have become fewer as I have used the mat more. That all the negatives out of the way time fore the positives. The mat is very thick and provides a good level of comfort for my hands and feet. Additionally the mat is very hard wearing due to it being designed to be used with trainers. I have used this mat for some self body weight exercises where I am using trainers and for yoga and have found it very good for both. The mat does not slip on the floor no matter what I am doing this can be burpees or the downward facing dog it doesn’t budge one mm and is the main reason I bought this mat. Lastly I have used this mat pretty much daily for month and it still looks like it did the first day I used it. I know this isn’t saying much as it’s only a month, but if you look at yoga mats at a gym which is being used daily, you can see how quickly they wear out.

I ordered this yoga mat literally minutes after practising on one in San Francisco. I already have a LIfeforme yoga mat but this mat is just so much better. It is really cushioned AND has a great grip. It also ( and this was the dealbreaker for me) smells good already when you get it out of the package. It has not even got a faint whiff of the horrible rubber /toxic smell you got from so many other mats. So five stars for me. I would give ten if I could. Highly recommended!

Perfect mat! I’ve tried several and this is worth the money.

Pro's: good size, good thickness to create sufficient padding between yourself and the floor, like the colour and easy to clean. Extra bonus: sustainable Con's: I still slip a bit on this mat. Admittedly i have bad grip as my palms get clammy. I bought this with the grip despite sweat in mind though. Overall: Bit disappointed but this is probably a good mat for the average person, just not me :(

I've ordered the mat on Tuesday and it said I would get it by Saturday, I was a little down because it seemed like eternity, but it actually arrived next day! Thank you so much! <3 I've been working lots and didn't have a chance to properly try it, but I did a few quick exercises and it does feel amazing, it doesn't slip even when you want to (I noticed I put it on the floor not quite straight and tried fixing it and it wouldn't let me until I lifted it). It looks very well made. It has a little rubber smell now, but to be honest it doesn't bother me at all (even if it stays) Looking to exercising even more now, thanks!

Great product

This is a nice mat for a gentle practice. However, if you tend to work up a sweat, you are likely to find yourself slipping around. This can feel a little unsafe when coming into arm balances or inversions.

Item is clearly not brand new, plastic wrapping was missing and paper label had been sellotaped. REALLY not happy about the price for that reason. Seems good quality though looking forward to trying it out!!

Son cómodos, tienen el soporte perfecto y mejoran con el uso. Son los únicos tapetes que uso y los que tengo en mi estudio para mis alumnos. Portable (weight/thickness) yet satisfying good grip and cushioning effect.

Fantastic mat, easy to use, easy to keep clean, would recommend a thicker mat for anyone who needs extra knee support. Great product, extremely happy with the quality.

Its thick enough for shoes, hardened material. Good for sweaty workouts and feels like it will last long. The colour is great too

Tapis très résistant, le design en nid d'abeille et parfais pour le fitness, pas gênant pour le yoga. (Pas de douleur aux mains, c'est ce que je redoutais un peu), je ne glisse pas non plus sur le tapis et il est facile a nettoyer. Tout à fait à la hauteur de mes attentes. Je m'en sers depuis plus de 2 mois.
