Description
- The central copper electrode is slowly consumed over time and a residual tank is formed on the surface which must be cleaned occasionally. If the water initially has high mineral concentrations (hard water), these deposits will form more quickly, but as Ecopas softens the water its formation will gradually decrease. The presence of these mineral deposits on the electrodes slows down the ionization process and can even be interrupted, so it is advisable to clean them weekly with a hard bristle brush. This cleaning is especially important during the initial ionization period of the pool, where it is recommended to clean the electrodes twice a week, since if the ionization decreases the water should be protected for longer with standard normal levels of chlorine.
