My dog Bear had to have surgery because of GDV. This has immensely helped with slowing his eating and making him not choke on his food so easily.

So this is packaged great, very secure. It looks simple to put together (it is-align the two wood posts with the hole in the middle and use the screw to secure them together), however, there's no instructions. I was able to figure it out (it's really not hard lol) BUT I was a little lost on the stickers. I had to go to their listing here to see they were meant to help it to secure the bowl so that it wouldn't move around. Well, I didn't know beforehand so I used one set underneath to use it as a floor protector *shrug*. Don't know what the clear bumpers are for though as I didn't see that mentioned at all on here. So the sticker / bumper things were useless for me because I placed half in the wrong area and the other half didn't seem to help secure the bowl at all. However, if I end up finding that to be an issue I'll figure out something. I'm just appreciative of finding a slow feeder with a STAND that had good reviews to base my purchase on. My staffy puppy is fast growing and is quite tall-the slow feeder we were using before had no stand so it was just flat on the floor and it was quite small and hard to hold much food. This bowl though is really nice, great weight to it and a really pretty colour. I have no doubts it'll be easy to throw in the dishwasher. It's the perfect size for my fast growing staffy puppy who eats as if she's been starved smh lol. It really helps her to slow down and (hopefully, enjoy the food too hahaha) no longer choke from eating too fast. She used to eat in half the time it takes my roommate's GSD to eat (and he's a big boy), but now the GSD finishes before my staffy! Super happy with the purchase. I first ordered the wrong size but set up an easy return and ordered the larger size with no problem, and I'm sooo glad I did.

The bowl is high quality and very functional. The bowl came in a secure packaging so no chance of any damage. The bowl is easy to clean due to the material being ceramic. It is big enough so no more spills around the bowl while our dog eats. The stand is also quite sturdy and keeps the bowl stable. Overall I am really happy with my purchase and my dog loves her new bowl.

We have 2 rescues mixed breeds. Littermates. Gretchen is taller with tall legs so she was having an uncomfortable time eating, I mean scarfing down her food. Madison is a bit smaller but still long legs, and is also an inhaler of food. At first I thought only Gretchen could benefit from this crazy bowl & stand so I only bought one. It arrived today...in only one day! Watching Gretchen eat from it tonight was so great. She seemed to love it. The ceramic bowl has so much weight to it that it didn't move one bit on the solid wooden stand. So watching Madison eat from her old hard , well-made plastic puzzle bowl was sad. Pushing it around the kitchen floor, glancing over at her sister with jealousy. Needless to say, I just ordered a second one of these for Madison. Yes, I know, it's only been one day but the heavy weight of the ceramic bowl & the wooden stand is quite irresistible cuz all the other raised puzzle bowls are usually plastic. I hope I'm correct in counting on these units to last a long time cuz they are not cheap but if they are as durable as they look, they're worth it. . I got the large green ones cuz the puzzle design looks uncomplicated. And the color is pretty.

I bought the smaller, shorter bowl and stand when my boxer puppy was 4 months and it slowed down his eating time tremendously. He’s now 8 months, taller and kept spilling his food on the mat due to the amount he’s now eating. I was happy to learn the company did make a taller stand and larger bowl. I tried to get him to eat out of a stainless steel slow eating bowl on a stand from a previous boxer we had, but nope, this guy wasn’t having it! Whined and I had to get the smaller orange bowl back out until this newer, larger one arrived. I did order an additional, larger bowl that is orange and has the same pattern inside as the smaller orange just in case. He’s eaten two meals out of green bowl and can’t seem to get all the kibble, but I’m sure will learn to adapt. I would recommend this bowl since it’s heavy enough and won’t move and the ceramic is easy to clean.
