Very hot 🥵 content. Loved the intimate scenes.Good story progression although I hope the story is a bit longer.

I enjoyed this book. The characters were good and I liked the storyline.Aida was a good character. She was strong and she put up with a lot from Milo. Milo was good too, but he was cruel at the start.I think the duel POV was brilliant because it was great to get inside of his head. It put a little understanding to his actions, although it didn’t justify the lengths he went to.I enjoyed reading their relationship develop. It was forced up until the end, and I liked the way it changed and how it changed. It was great to see Milo’s barriers lower and acknowledge that his actions have been harsh.I dropped a star because the daddy kink wasn’t to my taste, and I felt that Aida’s need to have him touching her shouldn’t have been as needy after how he was treating her.Overall, it was a good story with good character development. Im in two minds. I like the steamy spice scenes in the book. But i didnt feel the romance from fmc. I found him rapey and abusive. The author tries to give us his back story.His dad beats his mom to death. But that doesnt stop him from hurting the fmc.He has a dark heart and i think she has stockholme.Its toxic romance at it finest. I like that we got to see mafia stuff. Yes this story is a little dark but not too bad . Milo and Aida were really well matched . Though they did not get on well together at the beginning . But things happen and mind set changes . So well worth a read. ..

Fantastically dark and twisted, great storyline fast paced and never dull. I absolutely recommend if your into mafia romances with a happy ending.

The storyline was great, just felt like it needed more. More padding around certain parts, more background to the main characters, just a little more.The beginning was quite robotic, but it really was a good storyline, and an enjoyable read.

No matter that the story has a happy ending, there was something about the story line which made me feel uncomfortable. I could not get past the aggression and negative treatment of Milo to Aida. No matter what devils were in the background of Milo’s upbringing and life his attitude was callous and it just spoiled the nicer bits of the story. If I were Aida I would be permanently emotionally scarred so a step too far in this type of book for me.
