Karcher 25UF Pressure Washer Capacitor

Works fine

Bought it to replace a blown motor capacitor on my 8-year old Karcher 4.99. Genuine part, same spec, same connection plates and same geometrical dimensions, so fits snugly into existing slot and connects to existing wires. Once fitted - the unit started immediately. For people complaining about quality - motor starter capacitors are a known weak point in any conventional (not brushless) motor - they are almost considered consumables. They also operate as fuses - in case of overload, they take the brunt and are designed to fail safe to protect the much more expensive main motor assembly. So occasionally they need to be replaced - not a big deal. Considering that this is the only part which actually failed on the unit in 8 years of heavy use - this is remarkably good.

Bought to replace in my Karcher jet wash. Worked well but not been in there long so unsure on longevity.

Worked great in getting my K6.85 up and running again, but item was not as image shown and literature on the capacitor is not as original capacitor removed from Karcher. I have doubts about it being a genuine Karcher replacement, price is half of karcher branded ones.

Given 3 stars as it is identical to the one that I removed. In this day and age there is no need to fit a components that is predictably unreliable and it's failure causes many otherwise good pressure washers to be thrown in the trash. You would think that they would provide a better higher reliability capacitor.
