Great for transferring liquids that flow well
A very good syphon for small transfers of liquids from one vessel to another. I use it to drain gas from my snowblower in the spring. It was quick and easy process. I tried transferring gas from my car to a gas can but was unsuccessful.

NICE ALL AROUND HOSE FOR GAS AND POWER STEERING FLUID CHANGE, OUT, THE FLANGE IS A VALUABLE PART FITTING MY POWER STEERING HOSE MAKING IT WERE I COULD SEE THE NEW FLUID IN RETURN HOSE IN BUCKET WHEN THE NEW FLUID FLOWED, BUCKET CLIP FILMSEY THOUGH. UESD A RUBBER BAND AROUIND IT TO TIGHTEN GRIP ON CLAMP.

Worked well
Worked well siphoning gas from the snowblower for Spring. Seems well-constructedand it provided v.good suction. Tube is a good heavy vinyl.

Easy to use, drained snow blower tank quickly

Did not work on first project
We used it to try to remove water from a water filtration system container. It did not work. The end, even with the weight, did not stay down. We are keeping it o try with gas to see if that will work.

Works. Some cautions.
Kinda wish I'd sprung for for an electric one like they sell for aquariums, because siphoning isn't all that fast. But this works, and you don't have to worry about dead batteries. If they turn off the gravity we'll have bigger problems to worry about. Measure the path you plan to use and consider buying more tubing at the same time. I should have. I had to improvise. Also, if you manage to pull it apart, it matters which way the the parts that connect the bellows to the hoses are oriented. Put it back together wrong and it won't work. Yeah, that's obvious, right? Wrong. It's only obvious after you think about it a moment when something calls it to your attention. Like you did it wrong. If it starts working less well than it did at first, or even quits working, you probably have debris caught in the upstream check valve. Take it apart, clean it, and put it back together.
