Great Knives I'd order again

I literally just took this out of the box washed it and tried it on a grape tomato and did paper thin slices. I like the size (7 in) of the knife and I didnt have tomatoes sticking to the blade. It feels good to handle and the weight feels just right. The mid range knives recommended by the culinary school is ginormous and felt cumbersome. This one feels like an extension of my hand. This was recommended by one of the chef instructors. The paring knife also felt easier to use. felt like a sharp butter knife without a bulky handle. glided over the apple easily. So far, happy with purchase. Will update down the road. Would be nice if it came with knife guards.

My mom has a Global knife I've loved using for years when I visit. I finally got my own, and wished I hadn't waited! Slices everything from tough veggies to raw chicken so easily. Really worth the $ given I use it multiple times a day.

Love the Global brand knives. Very lightweight but quality made! A greta knife for a chef or home cook.

The small and long knives are fantastic. I purchased the small and long one maybe 10 years ago. I lost the small one (7") and when I replaced it, I bought the 10" with the easy slide edge for cutting tomatoes and soft fruit. It slides off easily. I sharpen them often when I cut meat. Highly recommended.

My favorite knife got a chip after years of use, so I bought it again. I have several other knoves, but this is my go-to.

I use this knife every day for cutting and chopping, mostly vegetables. We have another kitchen knife set, but this is the knife that I go to when I cook. By far, the best chef's knife I have every used. I hand wash it to keep it sharp and clean. It has accidentally been through the dishwasher a few times over the years, but that has not affected the quality. It stays sharp easily, and rarely needs sharpening.
