Its a great fan
I really like this fan. I replaced my older style fan with the pull chains in the living room with this and it makes a huge difference.First off, the color makes it just melt into the ceiling which I absolutely love. It doesn't have any light cups or anything so I don't have to dust around those anymore. The remote is super easy to use and synced up right away. To turn the fan on it just takes a second or two to get it going but it gets up to speed quickly and slows down very quickly as well. The light is super bright, It is a downward facing light so the ceiling and upper corners of the room don't get lit up as well as a traditional fan light would do.To me to fan operation is very quite, ambient noise really makes me go crazy and this fan is quite silent. Even on level 1 I can feel the breeze coming off of it sitting about 10 feet away, I could not feel that with my old fan. Mounting was pretty easy and straight forward. The directions could use a bit more detail though, they label the parts at the beginning but then don't specify what parts to use in each step. All the washers look the same in black and white.I am very impressed and pleased with this fan and would definitely recommend.

Great ceiling fan but I wish the remote worked better
The media could not be loaded. Installation of this ceiling fan was pretty quick and easy. You have to attach the blades, connect the light fixture to the unit, and then you can attach it to the mount. It was all a very simple process. The fan itself works great. What I really like about the fan is that it can spin either way which is the main reason I got it to keep the hot air from rising in the winter and pushing it back down and it really does work well. It mounted well to the ceiling and I've had zero issues with it spinning off kilter. The light setting is really great because it has three different types of light. A white light, a yellowish light and one that's somewhere in the middle and you can even turn the brightness setting up or down. My only real gripe with this fan is the remote. The remote itself is set up great and the buttons are easy to figure out. It even comes with a wall mount for the remote which I love but I just wish the connectivity was a little better. I've found that I sometimes have to push the buttons multiple times to get it to do what I want it to do. Sometimes I have to stand up or point it closer to the fan to get the remote to work which is a little annoying. I have a small living room so it's not like I'm a far distance from the fan. It's directly above me so it's a bit frustrating that the remote sometimes doesn't work even though I'm so close to it. I'm still very satisfied with this fan even with the remote connectivity issue. It has a long black wire that sits inside the steel unit that is the receptor for the remote and I could have it poking out a little to connect with the remote better but if it were visible it would take away from the overall aesthetic of the ceiling fan. It's just a bad design flaw but the fan does what I needed it to do and it looks great so I'm still very satisfied.

Easy to install, love the way it looks
We got this FINXIN Indoor Low Profile Ceiling Fan Brushed Nickel LED 52 Ceiling Fans For Bedroom,Living Room,Dining Room Including DC Motor,Light,5-Blades to replace our living room fan. This gorgeous flush mount fan is bigger than our last one 52”vs 46” and looks so good once installed. The instructions were easy to follow but it’s like most fans we’ve installed. The fan has a handy remote that has several different settings for the fan speed, light brightness, power, fan timer, and fan direction. If we turn the main power switch off and back on the fan and light go to the same setting it was on. So far the remote has worked fine, a couple second delay but fine.

Great Fan/Light! Remote? Not So Much...
First the good: I really like the look of the fan, minimalist and black to match the bookcases/desk in the room. The fit and build quality are good. It runs whisper quiet and at a range of speeds that includes "hurricane". It has zero wobble right out the box. The ability to change the light from soft white (in my picture) to harsh white, is excellent. It is also very bright on full, but dimmable (it is dimmed in the picture). The dimming goes way down, but you can't dim it off, however the light control is more reliable and easier to use than the fan control, so switching off the light is pretty reliable. All controls are via the remote after the wall switch is turned on. If you have a direct wired fan with no wall switch, you'll be fine. I just remember to check the wall switch first if it doesn't respond....And that brings us to the not-so-good: The remote doesn't always work and often takes multiple button pushes to get the fan on. Sometimes changing position in the room seems to help, but when I'm right under it and the fan doesn't respond, until multiple button pushes, that's an issue. It also doesn't seem to retain settings on the fan. Each time I have to hit the power button and then select the speed. It would be nice if it saved the last settings and defaulted to that when it was turned on. Changing the remote batteries didn't help.If I wasn't frustrated with the remote, this fan would be a slam dunk!Installation was easy, I've included some tips below:1. Follow the instructions in order!2. DON'T FORGET TO PUT THE TRIM RING ON THE TOP BEFORE HANGING THE FAN BODY. The idiot who hung mine (me) forgot to put that ring on.3. My wires for connection to the remote control receiver were constrained by the white wire loom. I used scissors to split the loom and give those connectors a bit more space to avoid strain. (see Picture). I also taped the loom to the RC receiver to make sure I kept those connectors from bending to much.4. Make sure you connect the ground on the hanger plate to the incoming ground, BEFORE you hang the fan. You can then tuck those wires up into the box out of your way. Also, I have heavy solid wire in my walls and had to get bigger wire nuts.5. Figure out which side you are going to hook the fan body on for the wiring connections, and put the remote control receiver across from the hanging hook side. Otherwise taking it off the hanging hook is a pain with the RC receiver.6. Take care not to pinch wires or the remote antenna when you unhook from the hanging hook and move to installing on the ceiling plate.7. If you can figure a way to run the end of that remote antenna out, and underneath the trim ring, it might improve the reception from the remote.8. When installing the fan blades, they slide in and "hang" there, all you have to do is line up the screws. Remember to use the Red Washers on the screws. My blades were all straight and finished the same on either side, so I didn't need to worry about which side was up. Also, the screws are square to the angled plates, so tip them a bit if you aren't getting them to engage. They go in easily. If hard, you're cross threading.9. When you go to install the light kit, you will want to be slightly above the light kit and to the side, so you can see the point at which the first mounting screw engages. Otherwise it's like playing pin the tail on the donkey, and I felt like the donkey until I got the correct view.
