Looks like a higher quality latch
Original cheap standard latch became rough to operate after 5 years. This Zoo item looks to be of a higher quality and should last a lifetime (mine at least!). The bored hole in the door needed opening up a fraction with a chisel but otherwise a simple replacement. Have replaced three so far.

Well built
Needed a replacement for a latch on my child's room, which clicked every time I tried to exit his room after bed time, this fitted perfectly and is silent. Will probably be replacing several others now.
