Great Fit and Comfort
I have been wanting to try Young LA shorts for some time. I love them, the fit, the comfort, the length and look. These are especially great for leg days or any day you want to be extra comfortable and show off your leg progress. I have purchased 2 other pairs after this one.

Great shorts
My gf nicely said it was time for me to ditch the baggy, long gym shorts. So, I got these. Love them! Just the right length to look good and not bunch or bind. They also show off muscular thighs. I like the terry fabric - very comfortable and convenient to give my palms a quick wipe before lifting. And the pockets don't flare out too much. I also like the cut fabric leg bottom with a bit of roll - looks cool. I have a 34" waist, athletic butt and usually buy mediums in shorts - these mediums fit perfect.

Runs small
I am 6', 190 lbs, built like a 400 meter runner. Most of my athletic shorts are Medium or Large, depending on the manufacturer and I can generally make due with a medium even if a Large is a bit more comfortable. I don't own any XL of anything. These run unusually small. Not enough room for my glutes or my thighs, but the waist was fine. Judging by the way these are laid out (and the hundreds if not thousands of exercise shorts I've owned or tried on), I can tell the Large & XL will not fit my body type well, either.I'd say these were built for the skinnier ectomorph athlete and for trim non-athletes. Definitely not for bulky weight lifters or runners with higher muscle mass. They fit my 13 y/o son perfectly, he ran in them this morning and has had them on all day, which is a good sign. They seem nicely built with quality fabric and a generously thick belt rope. They are pretty thick, almost like a cut-off, thick sweat pant, which is a negative for me. I'd find them too hot. (Also, I ordered the ALL black version but got the one with the White YA on it.)

Good pair of shorts
I have large thighs (somewhat muscular), 50 years old, 5'7'' in height and weigh about 230 lbs.. My inseam is 29-30 ". I ordered the X-Large and they fit as expected. They are short (mid thigh) but not where I feel uncomfortable wearing them outside the gym. They do feel a bit snug in the butt area if I wear compression shorts underneath. If I go commando, they feel just fine :). I will say that they do stretch out after using them for a while and they get a tad "baggy" around the waist, thighs and butt. This makes them feel more comfortable if you use them to relax around the house. I worked out in them and there were no issues. They are a little on the thick side so sweat takes a while to evaporate unlike nylon running shorts for example.

Run small and will shrink in the dryer!
The style and comfort level of these shorts are amazing. I also love that they can be used for multiple occasions - gym, lounge, or just casual wear. The reason I gave it 3/5 stars is quality and sizing. For this price range, I was expecting a higher end feel but they're honestly just like any other shorts you could get from target or UNIQLO. The main bummer is the sizing. As I was reading through the reviews, many recommended to order a size up so I did. I am normally a medium and bought a large. The large fit on the waist area and the length was okay too. The main issue I'm having is that my inner thighs are chafing. Not sure if I just have thunder thighs or if anyone else is having this issue but this is my personal review so there's that. I have another pair coming later this week and if the fit is the same, I honestly might just return.Bottom line: These fit me weird but might work out for you. Would I buy again? Probably not. Should you buy these $25.00+ shorts? Wouldn't hurt to try it out. You could always return it.P.S. They will shrink a significant amount in the dryer. I was already having the problems I mentioned above BEFORE I put these in the dryer. But after the dryer, they are now my wife's shorts. So air dry these bad boys.

POWERFUL GYMWEAR
The media could not be loaded. Do you like doing squats? Do you have Fat Monkey Quads that you would like to display to the world? If so, then look no further than these bad boys. Made from a comfortable material that has no chance of dragging down, these shorts are only liable to drag up, revealing more of your Primal Thigh Musculature. I have searched far and wide for a pair of shorts that fits my very selective criteria, and have only found poor quality, dorky looking shorts. ALAS! Finally, a worthwhile investment in lower body gym clothing. Be warned, these shorts aren't for the faint of heart, as they require commitment, for if you decide to wear these shorts, it becomes a lifestyle. You are the short shorts guy. It is an important and worthwhile duty to live up to. You will have to become an ambassador for compound lower body exercises. May the gains be with you.

Short cut, true to size, made to show off dem quads.
Let me start by saying that these are short! BUT, in a good way! They are perfect for leg days! They have quickly become my new favorite gym shorts. Now, some useful information:SIZE & FIT:I have a 32" waistlegs and butt are built pretty well(years of ice hockey and never skipping leg day)I bought a "Large" size. They fit me perfectly. The draw string is long enough that I can tie them snugly around my waist just below my weight belt and they stay there without a bunch of extra string hanging everywhere.WASHING & DRYING ADVICE - when you wash them, loosen the draw string almost all the way and tie the tip of the two ends in a square knot - (google it, if you aren't familiar) - this prevents the draw string from being tangled and pulled into the shorts. I found out the hard way when I washed them the first time. They do come up about halfway on my thigh, so yes, they are fairly short. But I'm telling you, take the chance and buy them. It was awkward at first but the material is durable and my range of motion is completely unobstructed. I compete in my first natural bodybuilding competition in November and these shorts really help me see what I'm
