I recently tried the Clipper Organic Decaf Black Tea, and I must say, it’s a game-changer in the world of decaffeinated teas. This tea offers a rich and robust flavor that is rare in decaf options. The organic Assam black tea blend is smooth and aromatic, providing a full-bodied experience without any bitter aftertaste. It’s the perfect choice for those who love the taste of tea but want to avoid the jitters associated with caffeine. The natural decaffeination process used for this tea is particularly impressive. Using carbon dioxide, the same compound we exhale, Clipper has managed to create one of the best-tasting organic decaf teas on the market. This chemical-free method maintains the integrity and flavor of the tea, which is often lost in other decaffeination processes. Brewing this tea is a delightful experience. The recommendation to use freshly boiled water and steep for 3-5 minutes works perfectly, resulting in a cup of tea that is both soothing and satisfying. Whether enjoyed plain or with a touch of milk and sweetener, it’s a wonderful alternative to coffee. The commitment of Clipper to being eco-conscious and ethical adds to the appeal of this tea. The plant-based, plastic-free, and fully biodegradable teabags are a testament to their dedication to sustainability and the environment. Plus, being a certified B-Corp company, their focus on fair trade practices makes each sip feel even more rewarding. In conclusion, Clipper’s Organic Decaf Black Tea is not just a beverage; it’s an experience. It’s a blend that satisfies the palate, respects the environment, and supports ethical practices. For anyone seeking a delicious, guilt-free cup of decaf tea, this is an excellent choice.

I love this tea! I drink probably 3-4 cups a day, one of the perks of decaf. I've given up caffeine but my love for the taste and ritual of coffee and tea has remained. From what I've heard tea is an especially important consumable to get organic, partially because you're steeping nasty pesticides along with the tea itself in your hot water. Now, who knows how much of this we can actually control but I've decided to stick to trying for decaf AND organic which ended up being slightly more difficult to find, which is one reason I love this particular product so much. Now, my taste preference for tea is robust, like a builders brew. I actually tend to dislike fancier, lighter-bodied teas because I find them a bit too mild and I like my tea strong with milk and honey. A perk of this preference is that this type of tea tends to be cheaper (fine by me) which may contribute to the decent price point on this product. So, for those tea snobs out there, this may not be the right tea for you if you like a more subtle flavor (no judgment, my taste in coffee is, unfortunately, much pricier). Don't get me wrong, I think this particular tea is not only robust but has some lovely notes to it, which lend themselves particularly well to a good local honey. I think it's super yummy. Anyway, TLDR: Great tasting tea, nothing fancy (it's a finer, almost powdery leaf) but perfect if you like a robust, strong brew. Bonus points for being organic and unbleached.

Because of issues with caffeine, i have had a lot of decaf teas in my life - and they are all terrible. Tea is a wonderful delicate drink that warms you up from the inside out. Most decaf tea I have found tastes like hot leaf juice, with a vague and watery aftertaste and a shadow of its former self. This decaf, however, has some of the robustness of its caffeinated predecessor, and is well worth the money. As a reference, I find typhoo decaf to also be acceptable.
