Aircraft Histories of the Ling-Temco-Vought A-7 Corsair II

I was looking forward to getting this book, but I have to say this is not one of Schiffer's best. Other Schiffer books I have purchased are full of colour photos throughout and have high grade glossy paper.in 2009 when this was published I guess the publisher decided to save money. All the 1200 photos are small and black and white and gathered together in segments. The balance contains sheet after sheet of closely typed aircraft movements data' now this is fine' but one would have assumed in a 400 page book that there would have been room for a thorough narrative on the type. No just a brief introduction. I thought I was getting a lot more for my money.
