Yu Qin Sword, Pure Handmade Samurai Sword, 5160 Spring Steel, 41.31.21 inches, Full Tang Sword Set, Sharp, Black Katana

First, it was well stored. It has a generous wax-type coating to prevent any kind of rust. The factory packaging was also more than adequate with 2 spacers to prevent damage. The blade is sharp, all of my butterfly knives are sharper tho. That’s not a fair comparison however since each knife is well over $200 usd. Obviously, I’m a bit salty. My main point of discontent is the tip. I can tell the entire blade is machine ground based on clear longitudinal marks on the metal. Unfortunately the tip is almost intentionally blunt. For any blade, a rounded tip is simply dissatisfying. It feels REALLY good in the hand and could have been an outstanding sword. At the moment I realize it cost only $100 for a katana-style sword. With that I can be satisfied with it as a display piece stored in its sheath. *edit* Amazon did offer a refund (on return) the blade even a few days after the return window was up. I decided however to keep it. Contrary my previous complaints the blade feels REALLY good in my hand. I have become fond of the item….. FYI: the lacquer on the scabbard is VERY fragile so be careful storing.

Great sword. Took it outside and sliced a creamer bottle filled with water. First slice the bottle didn't even move. Took slice number 3 to knock the bottle off the stump. Hit the stump with it and bent the sword at a 30 degree angle. No damage to the sword and went right back in place. Very impressed with this sword.

I like the sword, it’s really sharp, with nice black steel, all black from sword to cover, which is new to me and looks nice, the weight of the sword is good, definitely worth it to me but the cover comes out easily if it upside down without pulling it but other than that, it’s amazing!

It got here very quickly and when I opened it up it was packaged well so there would be no damage. It's made very well and it looks really nice and it's sturdy too. Out of the box it wasn't as sharp as I'd hoped but that's only because I sharpen all my blades to the point they're razor sharp. I sharpened it and it got to how I like it. I like how the blade is black and I usually don't write reviews but I didn't see any for the one that's 21 inches. I thought it might be too small but I was wrong. It is still small enough to be compact and portable and if you need home defense inside the house but big enough to still be considered a sword and feel like a sword. It's got a good balance to the weight and you can tell it's not cheaply made. I got it for my birthday and I love it. Definitely recommend.

I have this mounted on my riding mower. I take tree limbs thats in the way while riding. The handle wraps came undone but the blade held up. No bends and still sharp. This is good for the price!

This sword is beautiful, far nicer than expected. For $59 and change this is an exceptional value. I collect inexpensive pocket and fixed blade knives and by far this is my favorite and most functional knife. I like this sword so much that at this moment I have a t10 Tonto and a spring steel wagasaki from this company in the mail.

I do like this sword. The blade is straight and sharp and feels quality. It is a very simple design and a little plain but sometimes you need a non flashy sword in the collection. The packaging is nice. You could do worse as it is a very good sword.

This is nice quality katana & Wakishazi sword. The handle was wrap with a clear plastic and blade was also wrap with clear will oiled plastic cellophane and very sharp. I like the quality of katana & Wakishazi (mid-size). Both will look nice on top of my office table at home. Thank you for a great product 👍
