This is a very simple product to use, you have two dongles, one attaches to your source device such as a projector or laptop for example and the other one attaches to your TV. You simple plug them in and they instantly connect to each other, transmitting the source to the receiver, with minimal fuss.The main reasons to use this is to get away from trailing wires and this does that superbly. You can notice there is a small amount of latency, so you couldn't realistically use this to do gaming from consoles or a PC, but for general use like playing movies, this is great.Build quality is fine, nothing spectacular and nothing negative either, just a nicely put together product.Value wise, this isn't cheap, but if you have a need for a device like this, the quality of life improvement it gives you, the cost is justified.I like it and it will get plenty of use, so 5 stars from me.

I got these to send TV content from my phone to my TV and it works perfectly. Really easy to set up, straight forward and easy to use too.

I got this wireless HDMI receiver to use with my projector for our outdoor cinema nights. I was previously using an extra long HDMI lead from my Sky box to the projector unit but found it lagged awfully over such a long distance, I then started using a long Ethernet cable with some HDMI adapters, which worked a lot better. However, when I saw this, I was excited to see if it would work on my set up, without the need for trailing cables.It was actually very simple to set up (pretty self explanatory, but does come with instructions!), and also includes all the required cables and adapters.The transmitter plugs into the Sky box (or other output device, such as a laptop) with the receiver plugging into the projector or monitor. Annoyingly the HDMI plugs on the units left them facing upside down when plugged into my devices, I had to try and twist them round to open the antenna up.Both the transmitter and receiver require a power source so I used the mains power plug beside my Sky box and a power bank with the receiver on the projector.The kit worked perfectly whilst connected in the same room, I then went to the room next door and it worked fine there too. I went downstairs to the landing (about 10 metres with living room door open) and the signal wasn’t great, making the programme jumpy. It will not work in my garden, due to the obstructed distance between the sky box and the projector, which is indicated in the listing so can’t blame the product. It was worth a try.The kit is well made, works as intended (at the distance advertised), and comes in a lovely branded box. It does have limited range, especially if there is any obstruction at all, so you’ll have to consider how you are planning on using them.

I am really pleased with this YAOMAISI Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver. I have so far successfully used it to transmit from my laptop and from my android phone. You get a transmitter and a receiver. One for output and one for input. It is easy to set up as it is plug and play and does not need an app. It comes with adapters one of which I needed to use my phone with the transmitter. I have a smart TV with Netflix etc on it but I can really see the benefits of this set to anyone who does not have these built in to their TV. It seems to have such a wide range of uses and the distance is works at is excellent (50m). It has a powerful 5G chip and a 60Hz screen refresh rate plus the resolution and quality is good (1080p).The antenna are built in and foldable so the units are very neat and hold a stable signal. I am still playing around with plugging the units into a 5V power source as the listing suggests it will lag without a 5V/1A or above charger. It can support 4 different TV’s playing at once but you need to buy more receivers which I have not done as of yet. This is a clever piece of technology that will get a lot of use in our house.

I've tested connecting this with my laptop and my TV and both were easy to connect and set up. As this is plug-and-play there is no need for an app to be downloaded, which is always a positive for me as I have so many apps installed for devices. The device is well-made and compact. This is perfect for expanding your viewing experiences. Very pleased!

Plugged and played flawlessly. Each unit (TX for transmitter, RX for receiver) needs to be plugged into a HDMI and needs a USB power supply to work. I used the USB ports on my laptop and on the TV I was transmitting to and it worked perfectly well.Then select to transmit from your device and select the correct input on whatever you're transmitting to and it should work straight away like mine did. There was a fraction of a second delay on the feed, barely anything in reality.The units are finished in a nice matte plastic and have a grippy foam under side. The antennae can be folded up if needs be to presumably increase range.Confusingly, the user manual talks about it being a 5G system, they presumably mean 5ghz WiFi. That's the only fault I could find with it!

This is a handy little gadget to have.You can use it to connect all kinds of devices wirelessly through the HDMI port. The kit comes in two parts a transmitter and receiver with all the cables you should need to make it work. This will be great for holidays as I like to use my laptop on holiday for TV, SKY go, Netflix etc and this will be perfect to connect to a larger screen.It is very easy to set up, all you have to do is plug the transmitter cable to the laptop HDMI and USB to power it, repeat this on the TV with the receiver cable and you are mirroring. It's that simple and is literally just plug and play. There is also a function to add receivers which could be useful in the future if you need more than one display. The only small niggles are the transmitted image doesn't fit the TV screen exactly and I think the kit is very expensive. So I've knocked a star off for it's overall rating.

I was having problems at first connecting with my PS4 but after contacting their customer support team they were able to help me to get it resolved and getting it working! I recommend this product if you are looking to get this working for your laptop wirelessly. You can also watch it on your iPad or Android to watch from that screen. Great product!

After searching through a very limited amount of these available on amazon, I decided to go with this one because it had the least terrible reviews, where the other ones would have reviews saying how slow it was and would have connectivity issues.I have to say that it took a little bit of time to get this working, as the light on the transmitter would not blink at first when I first plugged it in. After plugging and unplugging a few times, the light finally came on and it immediately connected my PC to my TV. Once it connected, it was very noticeably fast right away, with almost 0 latency or connectivity issues. This thing actually works and is used for exactly what I intended it for.Also, the quality on this thing is really good! When Im playing games the picture actually looks surprisingly good, even when comparing to a wired HDMI cord, the picture and speed is good. I’m definitely happy with this purchase.

This is great for wireless setups where it's impractical or inconvenient to run an HDMI cable between two devices. For example, I have a projector mounted in the middle of the ceiling in a room. With the transmitter and receiver, I don't have to run an HDMI cable across the ceiling and wall, or through the walls.They come already paired, so all you have to do is plug them in and wait a few seconds for them to detect each other. If there's a problem, you just have to press the buttons on each of them simultaneously for a few seconds until they pair again.Both need to be powered with the included USB cables - you can plug it into a USB port on the attached device, or use a 5v outlet adapter and plug it into a wall outlet (outlet adapter not included).When the receiver is plugged in but doesn't detect the transmitter, it displays connection instructions on the screen. This comes in handy since you always have the instructions with you.It comes with a receiver, a transmitter, two USB to USB-C power cables, a six-inch HDMI extension cable, an HDMI mini adapter, an HDMI micro adapter, and an instruction pamphlet.The instructions say that you can cast your phone or tablet screen with them as well, but it involves downloading an app (Rscreen) and connecting to a WLAN. I was able to download the app, but every time I opened it, it automatically closed after a few seconds. Also, the Rscreen signal showed up in my list of wifi networks, but nothing happened when I connected to it. I couldn't get this feature to work, but I wasn't too worried - there's easier ways available to cast to devices these days.I also used it to connect my PS4 to my projector and it worked great. There was a small amount of lag, but barely noticeable for casual gamers.Overall, this is a great wireless solution.

I had been searching for a wireless video transmitter for a while but couldn't find one that was in my price range and also a quality product. And then I found this item.WOW !!! This system is made well, great wireless range, quality made and so easy to setup and use.Setup had to be less than 3 minutes and I was ready to go.I highly recommend this product AND this seller !!I wish I could give more than 5 Stars !!!!!!!
